ADVANCED COMFORT HEATING & COOLING

This contractor was selected by the home warranty plan for the A/C problem I encountered (6/12/06), two months after moving into a newly purchased home. It took 4 months and quite a few follow up calls to get this work completed. Multiple promised dates went by with no courtesy call. For over 3 months I was told that they had this part on back order with Ruud and in the end, it turned out that they'd not properly processed the paperwork with the home warranty company to get the part ordered. After that discovery, it still took almost another month. Every time I called, I was told that they would come out and put in additional Freon if needed (regardless of its unsafe escape into the environment). In the end, they came onto my property unscheduled while I was out of town in October, replaced the coil (I think) and left me a bill for $200 for proper pumpdown & disposal of the Freon (why would I trust that to happen?) Warranty company said they paid add'l $900+ for work.
