GREAT experience with Ace Cabinetry. They quoted reasonable prices and timeframe & delivered on those results. We even had some weather & previous contractor delays/problems & Dave figured out solutions in a timely manner. Communication was top notch & responsive. All contractors/sub-contractors showed up on time. I'm an investor & will definitely be using Ace/Renovace again in the future!

Project had some issues. Despite my request for remeasuring for the cabinets, it was never done resulting in me having to purchase new cabinets and pay additional for installation. He refused to do anything else unless I paid the extra installation cost. His contractors seldom arrived before afternoon, left a mess everyday, and didn't work in consecutive days. Several days nobody ever came by to do anything and they don't work at all on Saturday. In the end, the finishing work was less than stellar. If I had not held payment until the end the half inch gap in the doorway to the first tile would have just been left there. I insisted it at least get filled in with caulk which he reluctantly did.

"Hello, When we talked about your project you told me you were ordering the cabinets therefore I can’t be responsible for them As far as project management, I had all my contractors lined up to finish the job in 1 week however, it got pushed back when you later mentioned to me that we still had to assemble all 18 cabinets. It got pushed back again when we had to wait on 2 cabinets that were the wrong measurements. If we had handled the whole order from the beginning we wouldn’t have had these issues and push backs. We did everything we could to at least give you some countertops and sink while we waited on the new cabinets so you wouldn’t have nothing."

The contractor came to complete some painting I needed done, and did a great job and was able to meet me within 24 hours. We were up against the clock to get this work done and Renovace came through. I would absolutely hire again.

Dave responded within two hours of my inquiry and came out that day to discuss the repairs/projects. He submitted a quote for the work I needed within a day, (step safetyrail), and completed the project within a week. He would have completed the job within days, but was delayed due to weather. Pros: - Value for the investment - Easy going Cons: - Messes aren’t fully cleaned up - Scheduling could be substantially improved - Don’t really value the customer’s time (e.g. being told they'll start at 10am and it will take 3 hours for one door framing and one window framing, then to start the job at 11:30am and still be working on those tasks well past 5pm. I might as well go the cemetery, dig up my grandmother, discover what killed her, find a way to revive her, and have her do the job. She alone would be way faster. I have never -- in my entire life -- experienced a remodel this slow. If you value your time, consider another company.

"We’re really sorry about this experience. It was a bit hard hard to try to accommodate your schedule because you wanted us to start at random times like 12pm until 5pm so we couldn’t work full days. We have other projects going on at the same time, but we did try to make you a priority by working on Saturdays and Sundays for you because of your schedule. You also kept changing what your wanted last minute and adding things to the project for example plumbing which we waited 3 days to get your diverter that you changed last minute, picked up windows for you that weren’t even part of our project (that another contractor is doing for you) not to mention we tried to call you for a week and a half and no responses from you at all. I can show call logs. Either way we really are sorry for the inconvenience, we value our quality of work and customer satisfaction very much. Wish you the best!"
