Bobby came and immediately said we needed a new ice maker for the refrigerator. He installed a new one but we still couldn't get any ice after spending about $280 We called again and he came out and realized it WASN'T the ice maker but a water valve. We've been waiting for a water valve since March, the NEW ice make doesn't produce ice, and we're short $280. BAAAD BUSINESS.

We discovered that our refrigerator was leaking water. I called this company around 9:00 a.m. By noon, a serviceman was here. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty valve. He replaced the valve and had the leak repaired in an hour.

Fabulous and honest refrigerator repair. Another company referred AAA to me when they couldn't help me soon enough. Bobby at AAA came out the same day and diagnosed the problem. He ordered the part for my 11-year old fridge and returned to install it as soon as it came in. There was no service charge for the installation because, by policy, they charge one service call per problem. I am very pleased with AAA.

Very well. My husband called that morning and the repairman came out 2 hours later and assessed the refrigerator. He had to get a part and was back an hour later to fix it.

The technician was very honest and told me that the dryer was working properly and that the dryer vent is what needed to be cleaned. I was very appreciative of their truthfulness, professionalism, and the information that they gave me. I would highly recommend the.

It took them almost 5 weeks to get my part in, claiming it was 'back - ordered'.
Now I live in a very nice home so they took me to the cleaners.  First they chareged me over $300 to fix ?something? with the specific burner that wasn't working and promised when they came back that I would only be charged for the cost of the part.  Well then they demanded $200 for this visit!  I can go online and buy a burner for well under $50.  Yes that is well over $500 just to fix a burner that won't ignite.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE unless you want to be ripped off.   Just my opinion.

Excellent service on the phone. Very quick response to fix the problem (first time within a day, second time the same day). Friendly, competent, quickly diagnosed the problems and fixed them. Price was reasonable.
They are our first choice to call when we have a large appliance issue. Very pleased with their service and performance.

Stay away from this 3 ring circus- WORST customer service- i just got dressed down at by an illiterate elderly woman- about as caustic as possible. She definitely does not understand we now live in a world where customers now have a way share their experiences to future customers. Also- apparently, 6 months is an acceptable time period for your appliance to work before you call them a second time to make the same repair.
This company came out and performed this repair in June of 2012. $285 to essentially drop in a new circuit/overload switch- seemed high but the Danby dual zone is a high end wine fridge so i was prepared to accept that- it has also run flawlessly for 5 years.
The fridge failed 6 months later- and when i called to inquire they could not find any record of the service, they had written the invoice in another name- Not a big deal.
what was a big deal was when i told them that, and quot;i hope it is something other than the part you have already replaced, that will upset me if i have to pay you to put in the same part 6 months laterand quot;. This is where it gets interesting. and quot;well its been running for 6 months so its not our fault if it fails again- we just get the parts and put them inand quot; a few moments later she opined..... and quot;maybe its the crappy wine fridgeand quot;.
they warranty their work for 90/days- and, and quot;if its the same part you can call the manufacturer and yell at themand quot;- i was also told- but i still have to pay for someone to make the repair.
mind you, all this conversation is taking place before we even know what is wrong with the fridge and as i reminded the second person who got on the phone- and quot;i hope it is something other than the part you replaced, because then we will have a problemand quot;.
the resolution is that i am going to call another repair and if its the same part- that means the part was either defective OR there is something else that is causing the part to fail- which would indicate the technician fixed a symptom but not the actual problem.
as i noted to them on the phone- and quot;i do hope it is something elseand quot;.
this company is run like they will never run out of potential customers- perhaps they will, or perhaps they will read this and be more accommodating to their future customers.

"Per Member's response to us on the Danby Wine Ref. We went out on 6/13/12 and it was not cooling. It needed a relay and overload so Bobby put the parts on 6/15/12 and charged $285.14. He paid by credit card. I got a call from him on Friday 1/18/13 and that is when he asked us to find the ticket. The ticket was in the name of the tenant ( Bill Huff ). I told him he would have to let us come back in to recheck the unit and that he only had a 90 day warranty on parts & labor. That is when he got upset and starting telling me he was not going to be happy if it was the two parts we put on it and that he would sue us. I explained to him that we could not warranty the parts aftter the 90 days because the manufactuer only warranties them for 90 days. We dont know what is wrong with it till we check it. I tryed to explain to him about the warranty so I let him talk to Rachel. He told her if it was the same parts that he would sue us. She tryed to tell him that he needs to talk to Danby about the parts since that is the company that is who makes the parts. He did mention sueing us if it was the same parts and that he was going to call out another company."

I was washing a sheet and it got caught underneath the agitator. I logged on to Angies list and read favorable reviews about this company. Took a chance and called. Someone from the company said I would be put on the schedule and about 2 or 3 hours later she called and said Bobby was on his way here. He looked at the washer, took the agitator cap off, and showed me where it was cracked. He ordered the part and showed up the next day, put in the new agitator hub and the machine works perfectly. I will use AAA Appliance in the future and would recommend them.

I was going to buy the part for the machine, but was advised not to purchase it ahead of time as it may not have been the issue. When the technician came out he removed my old drain pump, went out to his truck, and came back with what appeared to the exact same drain pump. They claimed this was a new pump. I checked with other service providers who informed me the "new pump" I paid for is on back order until late September. I asked for a reciept for the purchase of the new pump, but he was unable to provide one. Furthermore, I found the cost of the actual pump is only a percent of what they charged me. I was charged $253 for the pump, whereas supplier cost is anywhere from $49 to $69. I was also charged 85.00 for labor. I contacted the owner who told me, "That's how we make our money, by upping the price on parts." She keeps changing her story and I have been unable to get a refund for the difference in pricing even after telling me she owed me money and would contact me after her vacation. She did not. I called her back two weeks later and she now says they are not refunding the money. I allowed the tech, Bobby to come back out (he was suppose to be out the day before and no show and no call on the 2nd visit) and he ran the washing machine without clothes in it on drain and spin. I advised him it he would not be able to tell without the clothes in it and then I was told by the owner they were not allowed to test the washing machine with clothes in it. Even after all of this, the washing machine is still not spinning the water out of the clothes and that was why I called them. The rpm, Bobby told me before he left that would have to unplug the washer and wait an hour and plug it back in to reset and still not fixed as well as the gasket that is part of the drain pump being torn and the water going all over my floor. I also called a different company (Sewell Electric). They came out and tested the washer and said they thought it might be the drain pump but called me a few days later and told me that part was not available until the end of September. I have an email from then stating this.
Response from AAA Appliance Service
"This information is concerning the repair on Old Charlotte Pk. for the Customer. We were called by the Customer on July 2nd 2012. We were asked to look at her Whirlpool Washer that wouldn’t spin the water off out of the clothes. Our Technician (Bobby) went out and looked at the washer and decided it needs a pump assy. When she called she was told from someone that it is the drain pump and asked me if she should buy the part and I told her no. The reason I did that is because until our tech checks the machine we don’t know what the problem is and what it needs. We also can’t warrenty any parts the customer buys. The pump that we had in stock was the orginal part number, which the part that was on factory back order that the Customer was talking about wirlpool has changed the part number and remodified it. Also, to check the machine we never put peoples clothes in the washer to check it. I did tell her that we are not allowed to be handling the customers clothes. Actually, the tech went out on August 20th and ran if 3 times and it works great. The unit was not leaking when we were there but we are still needing the cap and gasket for the unit. It is not leaking because of the limestone build up at the pin catcher. If they take it loose to clean it out then it will leak again. This part is still on factory back order. The customer asked for a receipt for the purchase of the new pump, which the tech does not handle any receipts for parts. They are entered in our system from parts distributor. She did sign our invoice stating She accepted the performed service and charge as being satisfactory and acknowledge that equipment had been left in good condition on July 2nd. She never said anything to the tech about pricing. We charge a flat rate labor of $85.00 plus parts plus tax. If not fixed we charge $49.99 plus tax. Every company in this town has a markup, ours is added into the parts where some companies added it to the labor. We have no idea where she found the price of the part. She probably found stuff on the internet. We only use factory authorized parts that have a 90 day warranty on parts and 90 days on labor."

Agitator stopped working on washing machine. Called AAA Appliance Service on Friday, told them did not need service immediately. They scheduled a Monday morning service call. During that call, Bobby also discovered a switch was failing. He did not have one on the truck so rescheduled to return next day to fix both problems.
Bobby arrived on time for Tuesday service call. Promptly repaired both problems.
Prices for parts was exactly what he quoted (actually a little less for the switch).
Very friendly and professional. Will use this company again if I need large appliance repair. Highly satisfied.

I found Tommy to be EXCEPTIONALLY patient and kind in explaining costs and options. NO Pressure - just HONESTY! He was SO pleasant to deal with ... I even told him his Mama should be proud (it's a Family-run Business)!
BOTH appliances are doing fine, and their magnetic calling card is slapped on my fridge for any future needs. The BAD news is, I will probably have repairs to various appliances over the next few years ... the GOOD news is, I now have a repair service that I TRUST!
I'd recommend AAA (especially Tommy) to anyone in need of appliance repair!

Overall, it went well. Upon arrival on Monday the technician diagnosed the problem and left the house to purchase a replacement part from a local parts distributor, but the part was not available locally so it had to be ordered. The part arrived on Wednesday when the technician returned and completed the repair. Considering the effort expended in securing the parts and the number of trips made by the technician, I feel the total cost was fair and reasonable.

Though the dispatcher for the company said we may not have anyone out until the next day, they were able to send out the service man that very day and within only two hours of my call.

The service man was professional, courteous, clean and we appreciated his vigilant efforts to get our freezer going again. We appreciated even more his candor and honesty about the possible need to replace the whole refrigerator if need be though it meant he would lose out on the service fee for replacing a condenser.

In the end, we did, in fact, have to purchase a whole new refrigerator but I would definitely use AAA again and now have their sticker readily visible on our new refrigerator in case we need repairs to any of our large appliances in the future. Hope we don't but it's nice to know there is a decent, reliable and honest company we can call on if we do.

I have used them several times and they have been quite good. I have used them primarily for washing machine and dryer. They have been quite effective each time and sometimes they have saved me fair amount of money. Sometimes they take the appliance to work on it and sometimes they come and work in my house. The last time they suggested that replacing the bearings would cost as much as a new one and it is better to get a new one.

A Saturday morning problem caused our service call. Bobby was to our house within a couple of hours, bringing the parts he expected would be needed, and before noon he was gone, the refrigerator was repaired, and we were satisfied.
