We haven't had a washing machine for 2 weeks out of the last 60 days. It was a brand new washer that we'd had for 2 years and luckily we had an extended warranty. It was 2 years and a month when it broke. The manufacturer won't give me the lemon policy because I am dealing with a warranty company. I keep telling them that a warranty doesn't count when you keep fixing it until you get lucky or you run out of the warranty. The reason I buy a warranty is for a timely repair. They have been wolfely inadequate. They are changing out a bunch more parts in the washing machine today and this will be the fourth time. Hopefully this solves the problem or I would imagine they will give me the lemon policy or I'm going to have to do something legally because it is kind of ridiculous. It is a brand new washing machine and they keep changing parts because they are not quite sure why it quits. They have replaced the controllers twice and they finally went to the wiring harness. I have been pretty happy wit their service. They have been right on top of it but I haven't been happy with the appliance at all. A and E started working on it in January and they fixed it and it broke again 2 weeks later. They came right back out when the parts came in; they came the very next day. The guy is working on it right now. It is not their fault that I have a weird washing machine. They have been on top of it. I haven't had to pay for any of the repairs yet. A and E does warranty work on new appliances. They seem to be pretty solid people. They have done the best they could and they have been very professional. They would be the first one I would go to for an appliance repair. They have gone out of their way to help me get my washing machine fixed.
