Superior Overhead Doors

They tried to repair but I had counted on them needing to install a new door opener which they did. The service rep was very experienced and effecient. He adjusted the door and installed the door opener and cleaned up his mess and hauled the old door opener away. I was very pleased with price, and effeciency.

I am completely satisfied. All appointments and deliveries were kept as promised. When Russ (service manager) came out for the initial inspection, I explained I didn't need anything fancy, but wanted a "step up" in quality, something more solid than our flimsy old aluminum door. I had done some research of their product options before calling, and what he recommended fit my criteria like a glove, and I thought the price quoted was more than fair (even before I understood it included tax and labor). The door had to be ordered, but the estimated arrival and installation dates held firm. Two laborers installed the new door, reconnected the opener and hauled off the old door in less than 2 hours, on a dreary, rainy day. I hope this is the last door I ever need for this house, but I would not hesitate to call again or recommend to a friend.

Started out well. They responded quickly to first inquiry and came out to replace the spring. The spring was replaced, but once it was they discovered that the automatic door opener wouldn't close the door because of a small crack in the door. The crack was pre-existing, but in talking to other people since then they should have known that the crack in the door would cause problems, especially since they were replacing a single spring with two springs which would place more pressure on the door. At the time they did the work, they did seem to know what they were talking about so I asked them to give me a quote on replacing the entire door. They assured me that they would provide the quote the next business day. I did not get a call from them the next day and called the following day. They said they had a few quotes they were working on but would definitely get to me very soon. Two days later I still had not heard from them and called back. I left a message and did not get a return call that day. The next day I called again and left a message. I waited about an hour and then called and hired a different company to come replace the door.

The price was good.

Insulation had been added to the garage door which affected the balance with the spring tension and the door no longer opened.

I called and they came out either that day or next. 
There was a service call fee.  Workman had to return later that day because he didn't have the part, but he only charged me for the part.  Did the trick.  Was courteous.

They did a great job and I thought the price was reasonable.

They are very good at what they do.

We built a house 18 years ago that has a side powered drive garage door instead of the usual overhead drive. It has been typically an every 5 year service call routine. The company that originally installed the door has always serviced it. But after they came in Feb., I had to call them back in April to fix the door again. When they didn't come after I called them over 3 days later, I decided to use Angies List to find another company. I called Superior Overhead Doors and they said that they could be there the next day. They came the next day as promised and fixed the door in a much better way than originally installed. The other company that had always serviced this door never showed up or has called me about my door as of this date. I will call Superior Overhead Doors in the future for all my garage door needs and would recommend them to any one.    

The company that originally installed the garage door and opener did not do the job correctly. They'd cut corners to save on material and time, which ultimately led to the problem and necessitated calling Superior Overhead Doors. The technician, "Russ", arrived on time. He and his co-worker went to work immediately. The spotted the "trademark" of the company that installed the door and opener and went about fixing their mess. They installed the proper supports for the garage door and the opener to prevent the problem from re-occurring. The amount of noise the door was making, prior to their arrival, was horrendous. When they left, the noise level had dropped significantly and everything was working as smooth as silk. If you're having a home built, or need repairs on an existing garage door, I highly recommend these folks. They know what they're doing.

Called and they were out in less than 2 hrs, fixed the problem. I had used another company in 2006 and Superior fixed their mistake and corrected another one the other company had not recognized and did it wothout charging any extra. Very professional, thorough and polite. I recommend them to everyone. Great Job!

Superior Overhead Doors was very responsive to my call. I made the call to them on Friday morning, left a message and received a return call within an hour. They sent a service team out the same day and were able to repair the garage door completely. The service team was polite and professional. The reason I called Superior Overhead Doors was because they had originally installed the door five years ago and there was a sticker on the inside of the garage door with their information.
