Rob the Painter AKA Robert Stevenson took a $1589 deposit for a painting job and fireplace re-stoning project. We signed a contract, three re visions due to his poor grammar, typos and calculation deficits. Finally, we agreed that he would begin work on 4/3/19 He received a deposit cashier check for the $1589. Two days later , he called stating that I changed my mind about the paint grade and fireplace design so he didn’t want the job anymore. I said ok , “ you said a day ago that you were bidding out the cost of the fireplace design and give us a price, but it’s fine if you quit just return my deposit.” He said that he would return it on Saturday . On Saturday, he sent a text stating that he needed to speak to his lawyer about the contract because we changed our minds too much and he paid rocket lawyer for three different contracts that we should pay for. He started yelling and screaming like a raving loonatic!! This man is scary. He’s predatory and likely mentally ill as well. He is a DECEIVER!!! DO NOT LET Him INTO your home, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!! This is not the smiling guy that came recommended by Sherwin Williams in Murfreesboro, TN in Franklin Rd.He has NO Tennessee contractor’s license nor a Rutherford County , TN handyman license. He’s a thief!!!
