It went well. The seller agreed to complete the foundation repair. Pro-Lift was able to get us on the calendar quickly to have the repairs completed before our closing date.

Great Company. Family owned business. Very Trustworthy and professional. My front concrete steps had settled. Johnny analyzed the situation and correctly determined that my metal roof over my front porch had no gutter installed on that side of the porch, and rain water was undermining that pier/column and steps. Something that the other two companies that I received quotes from did not catch. Therefore, if I had hired the other companies, I probably would have had a recurring problem. Gutterman Installed a gutter and downspout there. I felt like Johnny listened to my concerns, educated me - given my circumstances, and presented solutions. Johnny's brother was the project manager, and he and his crew did a fabulous job leveling both. They laid plastic over the yard and sidewalk to minimized the effects of dug up soil, and clean-up. On other parts of the house (mainly in the back yard), their team also did trenching and buried 4" PVC for gutter downspout water evacuation away from the house. They installed clean outs where the downspouts entered the PVC for easy debris removal when necessary. An extra step that most contractors would miss (once again thinking of the customer). You will not go wrong hiring this company. He treats your home the way you would, if you were doing the work. Very Fair price compared to other quotes, as well. Work done at my home in Franklin, TN. 5-Star. Thank you Johnny.

This was the best contractor experience that I have had for any project.  Not only did the contractor take all of the steps necessary to ensure everything was done properly he reduced the charges when the actual workload was less than expected.

***BEWARE*** Johnny did work on a house we purchased as part of closing on our home. We were happy to have a "lifetime guarantee" on work done. Less than a year in, we noticed significant cracks appearing on the area they worked on. When I called, no one ever answered the phone. I left several messages that went unanswered. Finally, I got the realtors involved and he then came out to the house and scheduled work done. His crew came out a month later and said they had the wrong address. Tried to reschedule and have received no response. This is the most unprofessional company. It has been over 3 months now and they will not answer calls or fix the work they originally completed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will take your money and do subpar work. Their guarantee is useless as they have ZERO intention of following through.
Response from Pro Lift Systems Inc
"I explained to the new owners we were delayed in responding due to an overwhelming amount of new calls the last 3 months of 2016. I did not get to see any cracks inside because she wanted to argue with me. I gave her a repair date which frustrated her that it was a month away. The cracks in question were 3/16",which is still within normal range. The crew showed up and thought they were at the wrong house because the cracks were completely closed. It still amazes me after the third forum reporting how bad of a job we did that they fail to mention we cut out the mortar joints and repaired them. I explained this to her over a text.If the owner would have been there to show the supervisor her concerns this would be over, but they were not home. I have responded to every text,I still have them. Saying we have not responded in three months is untrue. That is why I text or email in this situation. I am sure these are nice folks, just like we are a reputable company, if you want this to be resolved be home at least in the morning and show the supervisor your concerns. We still don't know at this point that the cracks inside are even related to our work."

I am so impressed. The company was recommended by our realtor and we had them inspect our home before we bought it (it is on a HUGE hill and we wanted some advice.). We were impressed with how helpful they were in the inspection that we called them back for a quote. We liked that they were candid - but polite - and pointed out the tasks we really needed to do, and those that were nicer to have - but could wait for a bit until our budget recovered. They were on-time and on-budget and the quality was top notch. They explained everything before they did it and took care of the tiny details - like ensuring the drain caps had a string attached to the pipe in case the popped off in heavy rain. The little things really DO make a difference. The best part -- They quality was outstanding. We have employed a number of contractors over the past few years, and we were typically left feeling "so-so" about at least one aspect of their work. Not so here. Friendly, competent, and fairly priced. VERY impressed. I hope we DO NOT Have to use them again, but if we do - we will call them back!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. They were extremely nice, professional and fast. The lawn was reseeded and since we wanted the shrubs removed, they did that for us as well. I already recommended them.

Johnny, Travis and their team were a pleasure. They were prompt, great at communication and did a huge job with very little inconvenience to me.  They were fair with the price and only took my payment in full when the job was complete and to my satisfaction.  They went above and beyond while working on my property. The little things like removing bad shrubs while they were digging and special attention to the small cracks in the brick made the experience even better.  Highly recommend this company.  Hard to find this kind of customer oriented service.

Pro Lift has the most satisfied customers because they are likely he best choice if you have a settling foundation.  Initially it was challenging to make contact.. This is no some big corporation; it is two brothers working sales and installation crews in a most professional manner. Once I did make contact with Johnny, communication was very good, their bid was very competitive, there were no extras or surprises. Johnny's brother, Travis was on-site supervising and working with the crew at all times. Their equipment is new or newer, crews were polite and professional and TRUSTWORTHY. I was called to the office for a meeting and had to leave the crew at my house for four hours; no issue at all.  Travis knocked on my door every few hours to give me a progress report and show me the work.  This was beneficial for both of us especially when locating the drain for the sump in my yard They tarped my motor court, garage and finished basement every day and left the job site broom clean every day.  Travis called to confirm arrival each day, advised lunch breaks an departure. They replaced several bricks and did mortar work expertly; it is nearly impossible to identify replaced bricks. Unlike the other companies I had bid this job, Pro Lift placed six of the seven piers from the inside of my basement instead of the outside.  The results were great and really mitigated potential issues to my landscaping. I have lived in my home for 12 years and have had many contractors work on it. Pro Lift is one of the few that nt only met but EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I truly feel the quality of the work they did increased the value of my house many times over the cost of the work. I highly recommend Pro Lift. As a footnote, I am a Certified Property Manager and have managed commercial properties for over 30 years.  I know quality work when I see it.

It was the perfect job. The bid was not the lowest, but not the highest I received. The man bidding the job was highly knowledgable, professional, and discussed my options with character and honesty. The crew doing the work was very diligent, punctual, and cognizant of how the work would disrupt living in the home while the week-long project was completed. They cleaned up every day, did everything they said they would, both on paper and via oral agreement. I received a better value than the price I paid. I would use them again to fix a problem foundation without accepting bids from others before contracting.

They came out and did some shotty foundation repair work. We had to call them back out and they did a little more work. The job still needed to be corrected but they would not contact us back after several attempts. They finally got in touch with us and said there was nothing else they could do. We had to get a lawyer involved and they finally came back out and did the job. It took three years and is has been an awful experience. Stay away from this company.

"Telling the truth is very important when talking about someone.First off she was satisfied or we would have never been paid. On the contract in writing I wrote the main girder hump in the center of the hallway would always be there. We offered to make adjustments but she said no. So 2 years later she demanded a full refund. We told her no. So she then hires an attorney who threaten to take us to court. They hired an engineer who said in his report our work just needed to be adjusted. Our contract is very clear we offer a 2 year warranty and had offed this already. So we go back and do our normal adjustment. The engineered came out and passed everything. We even have his final inspection letter. WE NEVER ADDED ANY MORE PIERS OR DROP GIRDERS THEN WE ORIGINALLY HAD INSTALLED.Her husband was demanding items to be corrected that we did not install, the engineer explained that to him. Now that we did our adjustment she is was told my brother(vice president of Pro-Lift Systems) she was very satisfied with the work,(now for the second time). For some reason she now takes to the internet to talk bad about us. It is very obvious that this person cannot be pleased unless she receives a different outcome, like taking us to court. But she cant because her own engineer agrees with our work. We have 42 A+ Angie's list clients that awarded us a 2012 and 2014 Supper Service Award certificates. We take pride in our work. Some people are just hateful and don't know when the fight is over. Life is to short to let this type of customer bother us. I can guarantee we will keep our A+ rating on Angie's List and the BBB. Thanks"

Called Johnny Spies out to our house after a home inspection revealed problems on one side of our 20 some year old home.  We called him out in February 2014 because of, what we thought, was a similar issue, which really turned out to be nothing at that time.  And that is why we called him back, he was so very honest, could have charged us a lot of money, but didn't!  Didn't even charge a service call.
This time he came out quickly again, told us what the problem was, and set up the work to be done on Labor Day, as time for us,  was of the essence.
Edgar and his crew showed up earlier than planned, worked for over 9 hours and completed the tasks as outlined in the contract.  Then even went far and above what we had contracted for by cleaning out our crawlspace, hauling away trash left from previous owner and setting up drainage for one of the gutter spouts in the area of the house he had just repaired.
We would highly recommend Johnny, Pro-Lift Systems and their crew for any foundation needs you may have.  Its a pleasure to deal with companies such as these because of their honesty and integrity.  Thank you Pro-Lift!

I requested bids from three Foundation Repair providers, all highly rated on Angie?s List.  All three companies? reps agreed that the cracked bricks on two adjacent, exterior walls of my home were the result of a cracked and/or sinking footer at that corner.
All three recommended relatively similar work to remedy the problem.  However, the other two companies submitted bids that were nearly double Pro-Lift Systems? bid.  Even though I half-expected that based on other reviews I?d read on the List, I struggled to understand how Johnny (the owner of Pro-Lift, who does initial visits and bids himself) could bid so much lower and still deliver quality work and the results I needed.  (Bottom line, he believed I needed fewer pilings than the other companies were trying to sell me?and I believe he has the experience and knowledge to back up that claim?and he doesn?t have a sales staff or some of the other overhead of his competitors.)
Johnny was right on time for our initial appointment.  He quickly determined what was happening to my foundation, and what needed to be done.  He was very thorough in telling me what to expect if they did the work, as well as what _not_ to expect (in particular, that the cracks in the bricks and mortar probably wouldn?t close when they lifted the footer).  I appreciated his honesty.  He answered my numerous questions while he was here that day, and was equally helpful when I peppered him with more questions in the days to follow.  He really knows his business, and he put me at ease that hiring Pro-Lift Systems was the right choice.
The contract was straightforward and included the exact price of the job, which was precisely what I ended up paying.  No surprises.
When we scheduled my job for a Thursday and Friday, Johnny told me that it might (at no additional cost to me) run into Saturday.  That ended up being the case, and I had no issue with that; in fact, I appreciate that they did the job right and didn?t rush just to get done in two days.
Pro-Lift?s crews worked their tails off, even when the heat index was north of 100 degrees.  They have years of experience, and they?re really good at what they do.  They?re also really easy-going.  I had several conversations with Travis (crew foreman and Johnny?s brother) about the work they were doing for me, and he was always open to my input and my questions.
After lifting the foundation, they ground out the cracked mortar & tuck-pointed the bricks.  They were careful to match the color of my existing mortar.  They also installed and buried extensions on my downspouts to transport roof runoff out into my yard.  And, in the initial meeting, Johnny volunteered that they would properly bury a French drain that was incorrectly installed in the lift area by the previous owners of my home.  (In the end, Travis actually brought in a longer French drain to do the job right?at no extra cost to me.  Wow.)
At my request, Johnny willingly added, for a very reasonable fee, additional downspout extensions on other parts of my house.  I feel much better knowing that my downspout outflow isn?t going to be causing any more damage to my foundation.
Pro-Lift guarantees the pilings they installed for the life of my house, and I appreciate that security.  And with all the ?little extras? they did for me, I believe I got my money?s worth and then some.

Johnny was prompt and professional - very consultative and helpful. He identified a competitor's partial warranty that might be in place. He was so knowledgeable about what needed to be done that we had him do the work anyway.

The work was done well and quickly and the crew was very respectful, hard-working and thorough. They even fixed a sidewalk issue that wasn't in the original plan.

We were very pleased with the final result - the brickwork was like new but blended perfectly.

Our house was built in 1956 and the floors were in dire need of stabilizing.  We priced out the job with three different services and after listening to each one describe the needed work and their proposed costs, we selected Pro-Lift Systems.  They arrived on time, performed the work in a very professional manner, left without leaving a mess and completed the job in one day.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Pro Lift was the quickest company to schedule an estimate, and they were the best price, and they could schedule the work the quickest, all points strongly in their favor.

They installed pylons under the foundation to strengthen the wall. I was particularly impressed that when they did find an unanticipated problem, he fixed it without asking for more money. I guess I wont know for years the ultimate result, but it looks like they did a great job. And the work is guaranteed, so I am not worried.

All the guys were quiet and neat, and they did a stellar job cleaning up after themselves. And I personally liked the fact that they did the work by hand. One of the companies that gave me an estimate showed me a video where they used a small excavator to dig the holes around the house, but that made me nervous so close to my AC unit.

I highly recommend them. I hope to never need them again, but if I have more issues with other parts of the foundation I know who to call.

This company is amazing. Johnny and Travis are incredible guys. They both went above and beyond. Their crew are wonderful guys who work really hard at back breaking work and still keep a smile on their face. I can't say enough great things about this company. I would recommend them every day of the week. Honest guys who do what they say. They are creative and worked with us to find the best solution for our house instead of the cookie cutter "one size fits all" approach that other companies suggested. I told them every day that I felt truly grateful to them. I feel like they are the best guys for the job and our house is fixed better than it would have been if we hired any of the other company in Nashville. I'm so glad to know them. And last, but never least, they have the best brick mason in Nashville on their staff. Paco is a true artist.
