i called MARS on Wednesday because my dryer was making a squeaking noise. Eric came out that day, and without turning a screw, quickly diagnosed the issue 'by sound' only. When I challenged him on this 'sound' only diagnosis, his cockly response was 'I have been doing this for years', and 'I have a keen ear'. His keen ear told him I needed $259.64 in parts and labor to fix my issue. I gave him the ok to order the parts since his is a subject matter expert, and I am not. The parts arrived and Eric returned on Friday 4/7/17 and installed the new parts. What a shock, but when he FINALLY opened the back of the dryer he found yet more issues (I guess his keen ear failed him). Final bill to me when he left $281.59. On Saturday 4/8, and $281.59 later the dryer was making the exact same noise as it was on 4/5 when I initially called MARS. I called MARS early Monday 4/10/17 to express my displeasure and to again ask them to return and check out the issue that still exists. Eric arrived and disassembled the dryer again, and guess what? he found another part that needed to be replaced. Again, that keen ear of his failed again. The dryer has been workign fine and noise free since his last visit. The only part that i needed was he part he installed on 4/10. The $281.59 in parts and labor were not needed. If Eric had done a true diagnosis (which cost me $65.80), he would have found this then. I have contacted MARS several times on this issue. I am only asking for them to reimburse me for the parts they replaced that was not needed. To date, MARS has refused since i authorized Eric to order the parts. Sure I did, he's the SME and said those would fix the issue and those did not. In summary, do not use this company. As you can see they are not reasonable in dealing with customers or customer issues.

To begin with, ,my call to this company was great, the company rep answering the call was very helpful and scheduled me at the time and day I needed to fit into my work schedule. The service tech was actually a little early which is awesome , they told me window was between 3 and 4:30 but he called just before 3 and was only a block away.  He was very nice and professional.  He took time to show me what had happened to start the problem and what he needed to do to correct the issue.  He took the food out of the freezer, cleared out some ice that had accumulated under the freezer floor, put it back together and even put the food back in the freezer although I told him I would do that .  He made sure the refrigerator was cooling before he left.  He quoted the price before starting to work and emailed me the receipt before leaving. I  had pretty much resolved myself to the fact that I would have to buy a new frig but this one is working just great now. I have nothing buy great words for this company,  I would definitely recommend this company and will certainly be using them again as needed.

I thought the heating element went out. After the technician diagnosed everything, he discovered it was not the element but the thermostat. Not as expensive as an element would have been.  I just did not want this expense at Christmas, but thankful they could repair it. He was only here maybe 30 minutes and had it repaired. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have used this company before for a refrigerator, and now a dryer. I will definitely use them again.

They did not fix it. I decided not to have them fix it, I just bought a new one. They came out and did a service call. They came, they looked over the machine, they told me what the problem was, they told me what they needed to fix it how much the part would cost. They guaranteed the price of the part for 30 days so I had 30 days to make up my mind if I wanted to have them order the part and fix it. I thought that was really awesome that I didn't have to make up my mind right now. That service fee was also good for the 30 days. So, if they had to come back out again I wouldn't get charged that fee again. Between the service fee and part, it was going to cost me $250 to get a $450 washer fixed. We had had it for 4 or 5 years so we just bought a new one. They were awesome on the responsiveness. I called them. They called the day before they came out to tell me they were coming. The tech called an hour before to tell me he was coming. And then he was here right when he said he was going to be.

Richard called ahead and met me at my house. He was on time and very nice. He replaced the leaking hose and connector piece. He also checked the water valve in the wall and tightened it. The work was done in less than an hour and the cost was reasonable for the job. They have done appliance repair for me before and I would definitely call them again.
