Turning our home (and our pets) over to someone to do remodeling while we were at work was not easy for us. Melanie Davenport is a dream builder. She should conduct seminars for other builders on customer service. She made decisions on our behalf as if it were her house and her money. She was in touch with us everyday to let us know what had been done that day and the anticipated progression of the work. She is an extraordinary problem solver. When the unexpected arose, she was on top of it, and had creative solutions we had not considered. She was positive, upbeat, focused on quality, and wanted us to be happy with the work she had done. She was well organized with invoices, so that we understood costs and could make decisions accordingly. She cared for our dog as if he were her own, making sure the sub-contractors understood he is deaf and often bringing him treats. If you need a builder, good luck finding anyone better. The bad news, she will only work in Murfreesboro.
