Comcast

They charge for every little thing. They charge you a service call to come out to the house. The people you talk to on the phone are not professional. They use slang words. Some of them I would say English is not their first language so it is very difficult to speak to someone. It is very difficult to get a price for anything online.
They are pretty much the only ones in the area, the others are fiber optic or satellite.

I have had Comcast as my internet provider for 12 years. Over this time the service has gone down, they have sent people out or told me over the phone that it is my equipment. I am always told I need to rent their box, so that when it failed they could just replace. Only it has never been my equipment.
I bought a new computer, hooked it up to the cable modem and wireless router and all worked perfect for 3 days. Calls to Comcast. No help, my equipment again.
I hire an outside tech for installing my network, I have 2 laptops and a desktop.
This last time I had 2 new modems, the tech and Comcast. The tech was at my house for 4 hours, installing 3 different modems with no success, he left me with the new modem hooked up but no internet. Comcast said it was in the lines.
That was Saturday, on Monday evening the modem looked like it was working so I went online and finished the set up per the screen.  I was thrilled to be back online, but the wireless doesn't work only the modem when connected to the computer which means I also ccouldn't  print anything as I have wireless printers.
Call Comcast and they pass me around and around. Used up all my cell phone minutes and still no one can help me get this all connected.The modem goes off and on at will, now it is on but no internet. Comcast is useless. I spent another 3 hours on the phone with them being dropped or not connected. In the end, it comes down to the fact that COMCAST DOESN'T HAVE FREE SUPPORT,  you have to pay for it monthly. I wish they would have told me that from the begining.
I will hire someone else to come out and set this up. So far, I have spent $99 dollars on the first tech, $90 dollars on a new modem, $150 on a new wireless.
I went to Direct TV, 2 years agos I was so fed up with the TV service, but can't do that for the internet. BTW, I love the direct tv.

It was a package deal. They gave me a kit to hook it up. I had to call them to get everything setup. I hooked up the kit.  I tried to call them. The number they gave me for activation did not work.  Eventually, I got a hold of somebody, who forwarded me onto someone else who forwarded me onto someone else. I was on the phone for an hour and then they hung up on me.  I had to start the process again.  I finally got to somebody and I was able to call out of the house, but even right now, at times nobody can call me.  The equipment seem fine. The hardware works.  I haven't been able to get it bidirectional properly yet. They are the only providers in my area, I have no choice but to use them.

Overall, for being the only game in town, Comcast isn't bad.  I do feel it can be pricey and I am not always happy with the quality of programming available.  Generally, I find the service people good, although not usually prompt.

i had call to request srevice for my hom and  today is now the 6th of the falowing month  it took themn over a mont to tell me that they do not provide ay service in my are  that the cable stops a mile from my house  and they will not ever run cable up my road  let alone  some of the most rud ppl ever to come from there tec suport   and the customer suport team needs to be fired and re hire ppl at willbe willing to do a job  and from standing in line in there ofice in murfeesboro  it took me 4 hours in line to get to a counter and all the womand did was get on line and look up my adress and tell me well sir  there is nothing i can do but sent a line teck out and see what is goin on  i said its been a month and callin every other day  for some service   and all i got was we will call u back in couple days   i got fed up with it i called around to like 30 locations  and filny got an ansewr form some on that i will be getin a call from some one  that my number had never be placed in to the computer  nor did any one ever come check on my cable lines that run up my road    the one tec  on te phone  stated that no they will never run cable up my  road  couse none of them low lifes on that road could pay for it  they would just clime the pole and tap in to the line  if they ran it up here   im sorry if any one reads this and  they have them as a provider  but  they have a hold on my lill town where im living at and no other company can come in here and  run lines  or give the ppl in the area service that would be at least better than  whe there are giving ppl

I have been using Comcast for my internet service for 4 years. My internet service right now is pathetically slow, it is not working well at all. I want to look into something different, because I am not really happy with the quality.

I am billed at the middle of the month. If I had a chance to switch off of Comcast I would but they are the only service provider around. My issue with them is that their pricing is just ridiculous.

I think it is a reasonable price for the bundle.  I have had very good success with their services.  We did have a problem but they fixed it.  I think they are very friendly and on time.  I will continue to use Comcast in the future.
