Auto Transmission Service
$2,200
It took almost 4 weeks, a number of phone calls and $1800 later and we had the truck back with a warranty and an assurance that the transmission was good as new. It most definitely was not fixed. We woke up to a puddle of transmission fluid under the truck the next morning. My husband took the truck back and was assured they would take care of it as soon as possible.
The truck sat outside their shop for over a week, and multiple calls pleading with the shop to get it fixed did not help. The staff was rude and told him they had other customers that needed work done. While it is understood that we are not their only customer, we had already paid in full for a job that was not completed. Another 2 weeks passed and we got the truck back, assured that it was fixed. The transmission STILL did not work, so again, we took the truck back, it took a couple of weeks before we got it back and again, it was not right and we had to take the truck back a 3rd time and then again a 4th time. So after the 4th time my husband spoke with the owner of the shop and and had him go for a ride in the truck with him so he could see firsthand there was still a problem.
He agreed that the transmission still was not right and he assured my husband that he would personally fix the problem himself and get it back as soon as possible. After several days, the owner contacted my husband and we were told that it was an electrical problem causing the problems with the transmission, so they took the truck to another shop to have it diagnosed. We were told it was the battery, so we had them replace the battery and the truck was returned to Aleet. Again, it sat outside the shop phone calls went unanswered.
A week later we were told that the ignition was the problem and it needed to be replaced and that would fix the problem with the transmission. We gave them the go ahead (it would cost us another $425) and it took another 2 weeks and multiple phone calls to get that done! So we finally got a call on 11/8/12 to come pick up the truck and guess what? The transmission is STILL not fixed.
So over the course of the past 3 and a half months, this shop has had his truck for a total of 11 weeks. They rarely returned phone calls and my husband had to physically go to the shop multiple times to get them to do anything. Once they had their money (paid on August 30th) they ceased to care at all about customer service.
We are now forced to take the truck somewhere else and will have to pay even more money to have the transmission fixed. Please save yourself the time, aggravation and money, do not take your vehicle to this shop!

at the beginning the service, the professional manner, and the estimated timeframe of completion wuz on schedule. on the day of recieving my vehicle, approx 30 miles from the shop.the vehicle produced alot of smoke from the underside. once safely on the side of the interstate ,upon inspection of the problem. i realized the metal transmission line  had been cut and repaired with a rubber fuel line at aleet transmission.upon advice from the shop i wuz told to do a temporary roadside repair.the very next interstate exit,i stopped to install 2 qts of transmission fluid lost from the broken line. 3 days later while in town with family and pet ,the transmission quit pulling completely. coasted into a parkinglot. during conversation with supervisor at aleet,i wuz told they would send a wrecker the following monday.after many phonecalls there and many excuses i wuz told,8 days later, aleet made time in their schedule to evavuate my vehicles problem. a brand new torque converter had malfunctioned.today makes 14 days broken down, the weekend to go, and another promise the truck would be repaired monday.it seems once aleet received my 1500.00 cash at the beginning, they do not care about my transmission problems now. after recieving my vehicle from aleet along with a 18 month unlimited mileage warranty, with a verble promise to extend my warranty, ive hade the vehicle 4 days and put approx. 175 miles on it. ive been without the vehicle 9 +days depending on if  the last promise becomes true. after the first problem occured, the shop supervisor lynn, gave me his personal cellphone number for further advice. since that day, he has not answered or returned any of the calls placed to that and eleets business phone.

We had someone else hired to do the job. That person took the money and didn't do the work. He went out of business and skipped town. This guy felt sorry for us and gave us a deal. He did a really good job and we are very pleased with his work.
