Speeds aren't anywhere near what is advertised, even given wireless degradation. Router/modem equipment is cheap and doesn't accommodate all our devices. Planning to go back to cable (barf) so at least I can use better networking equipment.

Description of Work: They installed fiber to increase my internet bandwidth. The installers showed up early, and completed a timely install. They were very professional.

Our two year deal with Comcast is ending soon and TDS seemed to be offering a better priced phone, television, and internet package. On Wednesday the installer showed up. Without asking me he decided it was okay to drill holes through the brick (not the mortar, but the brick) in our home. When I saw this I told him to stop and immediately called TDS. The woman was very nice and told me she would have the Mount Juliet service manager call to set up a time to come out to our house. It has been two days and we still have not heard from him. We now have no home phone service. I called TDS yesterday and was on the phone being transferred from department to department only to be told I really needed to wait for the MJ service manager to call me. I am not sure why we still have not heard from him. Getting ready to call for the fourth time. So far they have done nothing but damage my house and cost me hours of time on the phone. I can not tell you how their actual cable, phone or internet service works because we can't seem to finish the install. At this point I would just like the service manager to come out to my home to a**** the damage and see how we need to proceed from here. Making Comcast look better and better... I have upgraded my review because I finally spoke with someone that took care of the problem. He sent a mason out and our brick was repaired. I would give that gentleman an A for professionalism and responsiveness, but need to average with the others.
Description of Work: So far nothing other than damage my home during installation.

They were cheaper than my last provider, which is why I switched to their internet service.

They were the only one that serviced our neighborhood. It's fine. You get a guaranteed price for your first year.

He came out and explained what the problem is. It's something that's similar to everybody's service I guess. What made us go with TDS was because they were a little cheaper and their billing was more consistent than other providers. With the other service provider each month the bill would just keep skylarking and in the end their service people couldn't find out why I had to pay that amount. One month I was paying $120 and the following month I paid $200. We might not get all the channels that we would normally want with TDS. The price is pretty consistent for what we signed up. The price varies if we use the phone service for information.
Description of Work: TDS is my phone, cable and internet service provider. I last contacted them when we had a slight problem that still continues.
