S&L AC Service and Repair

Pete is honest and knowledgeable. I will use as long as I am in the area. Neighbors in the 8 year old subdivision are all getting new HVAC units while mine maintained by Pete keeps humming along. Great Honest Service

First of all, I called Pete and he was able to get out to my house the same day I called him. He quoted me a time and later was able to call back and see if I was available for an earlier time since he was a little ahead of schedule. During the call he attempted to diagnose the issue to see if he could save me the cost of a service call (how many people would do that?!).
When he arrived, he quickly tested the system and determine that there is a small freon leak. He added more freon to bring the system back into expectations and monitored it for a while to make sure temperatures stabilized. He was more than happy to explain everything that he was doing/reading as he went along. He rightfully says that there is obviously a leak somewhere in the system but it appears as though it was a very minor leak and what he had done could last for a year or so. He indicated several options to rectify potential problems (from quick-fix to coil replacement all the way to full system replacement).
He is far more interested in fixing any issues that occur as opposed to selling a new system which seems to be very rare (after having to deal with other companies/hearing other people talk).

I called Pete at Sand L because my heat was not working on my HVAC unit. He arranged his schedule and came over that day to take a look. He took special care to see if it was something minor he could fix quickly. It was an ignitor which he had to order and it took a couple of days for the part to come in. I had alternate heat and let him know that it was OK. When the part came in, he immediately picked it up and installed. I have used Sand L before and there is no better HVAC company as far as I am concerned. S and L is an A+ company and Pete is a awesome gentlemen to work with. Thanks.

Pete is extremely knowledgeable and fairly priced. I have had the pleasure of his services three times now.
