Original estimate was $5000; extensive damage raised the price. Mr. Wendt came when he said he would. He required a deposit before begin working, presumably to be supplies. He is a small operation and works with a small crew. They arrived early and worked until early afternoon, stopping for the extreme heat. They did miss one day due to a forecast of rain which never materialized. Fortunately for us, we were in no hurry. The entire project took about a week, which is longer than big roofing companies take, but I think the quality of the work is superior.
