Just as a caveat, I have moved my family 27 times during the past 30 years. Both local and cross-country relocations with big-name relocation companies. I mention this only to say I know when good service is provided regarding loading, packing, and delivery to the new home.

The deal was made with me doing most of the packing (my choice). Hank's crew was to load up all furniture, boxes, etc. and unload at our new location. His estimated cost and time to delivery was realistic. I was impressed that the estimated cost held firm even though a second truck was needed. Hint: don't try to pack everything yourself.

The crew, which included Hank, arrived on time. Because I did a lousy job packing we ended up with far more boxes than planned. The crew worked throughout the day with only a 45 minute lunch break and maintained a positive attitude all day. Again, the original estimate was the amount charged.

Oh....did I mention we moved from a single story home to a two-story home and about 70% of the load had to go upstairs.
This is an excellent moving service and I highly recommend Hank for any relocation within his service area.

Everything was perfect. His rates are more than fair. He has given me a senior discount before. I highly recommend and would definitely use him again.

I called to book the move about a week and a half ahead of time. I told him I needed my house moved into a POD described my house and asked if he thought one POD was enough and asked how much he gave me the quote. I called back a few days before the move to confirm their arrival, at that time he asked if I had moving blankets I said I had ordered 6 of them, nothing else was said.
Moving day they called because they couldn't find such and address. I gave it to them again and they said they had something totally different. They walked into my home and kept commenting on how nice my things were. When they arrived they brought no moving supplies at all with them. I had to go out and purchase some more items. when I left to go purchase these items they did nothing, except get drinks out of my fridge. I had someone at the house while I was gone but there was three movers and one person they could not see what they were all doing.
They kept hinting at me feeding them lunch and tips.
Since I have now arrived at my destination, out of state, the company I used was 100% more professional and efficient. They also showed me how poorly my items were packed in the POD and things should have been done differently. I wish I had the movers who unloaded me, pack me.

To save everyone extra time, I recommend checking washer attachments... Especially if there are several stairs involved as in my case...but no worries...Hank and company will handle whatever needs to be done.

It went horrible. I had been speaking with the owner and he came highly recommended. He led me to believe he would be there with three professional movers. They did arrive on time, but Hank was not there and the two of the three movers there were intoxicated. I could smell the alchohol on their breather. The oldest gentleman was very professional. I explained to them that I had a sleep number bed and to move the bed, they would have to move it like a tradional bed. As I was out of the room, they moved the bed and it has not been correct since. I could not get the bed inflated since he deflated it for moving. It was not supposed to be deflated. He continued to state it was not his fault and I said regardless of fault, it should not have been deflated. It took them two extra hours because of the bed issue. They also tracked mud over the carpet in the new apartment. I called Hank and advised him of this. Hank did take off $15 of the total price. The boxes that were clearly marked were not put in their proper area. The food box is missing. Our foot massager and humidifier are missing.

Hank and his team were very professional and are good at what they do.  I was overall very pleased with their effort and attitude and they took very good care of our possessions. 
The only issue I had was with the estimate of the total cost.  Hank admitted they made an error with the estimate and I was also surprised by the cost of the boxes (over $900).  I have not had the chance to follow up with Hank yet to voice these concerns but I am having a hard time figuring out how I reached this total on the boxes based on the total number of cartons that I have unpacked.  I didn't do my due diligence and ask for the total carton count and how the $900+ was derived but will be doing so once I have a total empty carton count.
I received a very strong recommendation to use Hank and after experiencing it first had, I would not hesitate to utilize Hank again.  However, I would strongly encourage anyone to request a "not to exceed" quote and take the time to get a competing quote.  I have sat on this for a couple of weeks now and just can't get this thought out of my head that I overpaid for the services.  It has been a while since I last moved, but this "local" move cost me more than any of my previous "long distance" moves.

Had to move furniture to upstairs room addition. I had a L-shaped office desk, cabinet, bedroom set, and dining set that had to be moved last minute.  One company was supposed to move everything, but called later Thurs to cancel Friday's move. To top it off my baby sister's friend's boyfriend was MIA and I was completely left hanging on Friday. This stuff had to be done Friday, not another day. Anyway, I called Hank on Thursday and he was completely punctual on Friday. Keep in mind, you might not want to use voicemail, but make sure you can actually reach him on the phone. Once you get his word, he's the man, .........and God-sent.  He really saved the day and alleviated me from  a stressful situation.  Hank and Emory took the absolute greatest care to move the stuff around a difficult stairway without touching the walls or denting anything. His suggestion about where to place one of the furniture pieces was very helpful, as well......I've lived ALL over the states and never seen a mover that is so careful, and the price is great too ........

Hank did an outstanding job. They anwer my initial call and gave me an estimate at a fair price. They were punctual and arrived at the appointed time. Crew was very professional. The carefully wrapped everything and move all items without damaging either the house, walls, floors or the furniture and items  being moved. Upon arrival they ask were I wanted the items and proceded to put everything in place for me. Great job overall. I have relocated 4 times over the last 18 years and this was the easiest and the best. Excellent job by these guys. If I ever have to move again...I would definately use these guys again.

I called Hank's on the recommendation of Angie's List. He retuned my phone call promptly. I was able to schedule the move within the week for which I was very grateful. I called during the days preceding the move to ask questions and provide more details. Hank patiently answered my questions and we confirmed the move the day before. The truck that was used was more than sufficient for the size of the move. Consequently, they were able to load everything to be moved for the two locations. He was very clear about the number of men that were coming. They arrived on time, were cheerful about the work despite the heat and worked very well together. The truck was loaded within the hour. They used pads for the furniture and were careful of the hardwood floors in the home office when placing it. They were patient as we attached felt squares to the heavier furniture to protect the floors. They laid cardboard to protect the hallway and entrance. They were efficient amd worked with us in the unloading at both locations, even at the rented storage unit. The charges were accurrate and I received a receipt. I will use them again and have recommended them to several others who will be moving.

They provide loading and unloading services. They did a nice job. They work diligently. I paid $30 approximately per person.

The moving team arrived as planned at 7:00 AM.  We were loaded and on our way within 45 minutes of arrival.  I have antique fruniture and family pieces that I was very concerned about as well as new wood floors that I didn't want scratched!  The unload process was smooth and the guys were very responsive to our needs!  I would hire this company again for a move and I am a picky mover with a bad expreience with another company in my past!!!  Hanks did a great job and was very reasonable for a small move.

The work was completed when requested in a timely manner.

They arrived 5 minutes early and were done in 30 minutes.   They had to move all of the furniture from the 2nd floor and out the front door.  Larry and Hank were very professional, friendly, and efficient.  I highly recommend them.

Hank is our go-to moving guy!  This particular time he and his crew moved a pool table from my folks house to mine.  They were very professional in dismantling the table and carefully packing it.  They set it back up for us as part of the service.  We have used Hank's Moving on several occasions.  One time, just to move some heavy furniture from one room to another!  They charge by the hour at different rates depending on how many men you think you'll need to do the job.
I'm having them move my parents to a new apartment later this month!

FLAWLESS. I was down to the wire due to unexpected quick sale of house and trying to coordinate around Thanksgiving week holiday schedules. Hank's team was like a group of angels that came in and took care of me. The attention to detail and the service provided, which included an unplanned move of a piano, was exceptional. In addition to being on time with returned phone calls, committed arrival times and flexibility in booking which day to load...on the day of the move a 2nd truck and driver was brought in when it became clear items in the basement and garage were not going to make it on the truck. My other option was to come back to Nashville after Thanksgiving, load remaining items in rental truck and drive myself. The additional cost of that option was more than what Hank charged me. If I had chosen a national company for this long-distance move.....my things may still be on a truck somewhere today. Most of my furniture was family pieces that had been passed down to me over the years. When arriving in Virginia it was temporarily going into storage. Totally unexpected to me Hank and his team wrapped each piece either in shrinkwrap or quilts prior to loading on the truck. In addition once arriving at the storage facility (prior to my arrival) the furniture was loaded into one unit and boxes in another so that I would have easy access to get to clothes and other necessities over the next few months. The boxes were arranged with small aisles between them so I could easily identify contents. This extra touch is NOT something you would get from a traditional moving company. Hank was recommended to me by a realtor friend in Franklin who references his services often. This was the best going away gift I received. If I were still in Nashville I would be using his company anytime I needed something moved.....small or large. When I move to my permanent location in Richmond I'm strongly considering contacting him to see if he's up for another roadtrip. Thank you Hank and Sandra.
