Called Blocker Heating and Cooling on Monday, Richard came that afternoon, after recommending a new unit ours was over 18 years old, they had a new unit installed on Wednesday, very promt and professional, highly recommended, Carl Maynard.

Blocker was great. They were here the day after I called them, verified that my 15 year old system was dead, and installed a new one the very next day. Everything was explained well and the price was below what I expected. They also tuned up my mini-split system in my garage and unclogged a condensation drain while they were here. Very happy with the results.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Richard Blocker replace my 33 year old HVAC split system. Not only did he promptly respond to my urgent need, he got the old system temporarily working almost immediately. Knowing it was much overdue, I asked his recommendation for a new system, and of course costs. After encountering a shipping problem of a major component to the new system he installed a temporary unit to get us through a few days of extremely hot weather while awaiting the component to arrive. He also checked with us daily to see if the temp. unit was doing ok for us. During my 60 years of being a homeowner I've had numerous experiences with contractors and service providers, but never one that provided the response,professionalism, customer concern, fair pricing and exceptional workmanship as Blocker Heating & Cooling. This encounter was my first with this company, or anyone affiliated with it and my comments are completely unbiased and objective. I highly recommend Blocker Heating & Cooling! Our 31-year-old A/C died in the hot summer weather. Since our furnace was 33 years old, we decided to replace the entire system. We got three estimates and Richard Blocker gave us the best price -- by a large margin compared to one of the bigger companies. He asked if there was a particular brand we wanted. He was willing to install any brand and gave straightforward, informative advice regarding our options. He was the only one prepared to do the job the next day, which was crucial given the heat. His team were outstanding, obviously expert as well as thoroughly professional. They worked for 10 hours in order to complete a job that might have dragged on for several days with another company. There were a few extra things that needed fixing and they were included in the price. We would definitely not hesitate to hire this company again.

My air conditioning stopped working. Researched them through Angies' List and called. They were able to come immediately because of a cancellation in their schedule. Turns out the thermostat wire was loose, but then they also found that our HVAC system had not been serviced for years. We have just purchased the house. They did a thorough maintenance on both units and were just the nicest fellas!

Great guys were able to fix my broken AC on short notice.. A+ I decided to get a new thermostat as well which they did in no time

The first thing I noticed with this guy was that his hours clearly stated that they were closed, but he answered, and came out the next day. Very rapid service and great customer service as well. Later on we found my ac unit was draining 20X as much water outside of the house than my neighbors units. I called him, described what the issue was, and he came out probably an hour later to look at it. He found that the other company that installed it didn't put sealant on the drain pipes. He got that resolved, cleaned it out, and about two days later there was zero water of any sort. I would definitely recommend him.

I'm so glad we found Blocker heating and cooling! The gentlemen who installed it were so kind and courteous! They worked diligently to ensure we were up and running in a day, so we wouldn't be cold that night! Not only that, but they actually took the time to fix several things that the old homeowners installed incorrectly - I know nothing of HVAC units but they did some new duct work, welding, even built a nice stand for my furnace - they are so handy! They took extra care to ensure our unit would operate in the most efficient way....I was so grateful, quality work, they are incredibly kind and trustworthy - we will be Blocker customers for life!

Everything was installed very nice and is working as I wanted.

He has always been on time and polite. He cleans up too. He is the only one out of 7 quotes that addressed all the things that needed done. He also enclosed the piping to look like drain gutters pipe to make it look better.

I couldn't ask for a better experience. They were on time and actually did more than I expected my venting and exhaust layout was not optimal so they removed that and completely re-ran all of that. I was expecting an additional bill for that part but it was included. I have them on speed dial in my phone now. I'll never call anyone else.
