TOTAL TEMPERATURE CONTROL

On Friday (06/03/2016) afternoon late we noticed the house was hot and the AC was not responding. I called around supper time and they said they would have someone come out sometime before 10 PM as they were swamped with service calls. I said that was too late and to come out on Saturday. The service person came around 10:30 AM and quickly diagnosed a faluty blower motor. He informed that replacement cost was $1100 but Trane has a 10 year warranty on parts and there would be no parts cost only labor. The blower motor had to be obtained from Trane by turning in the old blower and that it should be available on Monday. The blower was not received until Tuesday morning in which they promptly called me and a service person came out at 11 AM and replaced the motor and control module and checked out the unit for operation after the install. I considered the over all promptness and total cost of the repair to be a bargain and I like the attitude that realized that we had no AC and it had to be repaired ASAP.
