This is only the latest in a long chain of good experiences with Russell McMinn. My wife and I each drive a vehicle with over 200k miles, so we see Russell often. In our experience, he is consistently prompt and clear with timetables for repairs. He almost always has a vehicle back to us on the same day that we bring it to him, provided we made an appointment. His prices are also pretty consistently better than we've had elsewhere.
In this particular case, there was a crack in the radiator of our Honda Civic. We took the car in at about 8am. I received a call from Russell about 2 hours later giving me his diagnosis and repair plan (replace the radiator, refill with coolant) and cost. I asked him to change the oil while he was at it. I received another call from him about 2pm to let me know the car was ready. Simple, straighforward. This experience was representative of each of the perhaps 20 repair jobs we've had for Russell over the last 3 years.
