Terrible. Installed 2 years ago. The window itself is good quality and price was good, but the installation process is awful. Vendor does not keep appointments. Communication between office and its installers is awful. Customer Service is awful. Within 2 years we have wall damage due to faulty installation of 3 windows. Window World says it is a caulk issue and every customer should recaulk every year which is crazy. The extent of damage and visible signs show this was negligence on the installer's part since the install. pinpoint holes in the base of the window that were not fully caulked (but not visible to naked eye unless you open up your interior wall beneath window to see) caused hot humid air to mix with the cool interior walls. Ruined the insulation, ruined the wood wall paneling, and caused mildew and mold on casing and interior of wall. Vendor says "how do you know it was us"? Because it was fine for 50 years until you replaced the window and now within 2 years I have damage.

They did a wonderful job, they came out showed us our options and were willing to negotiate prices. They installed everything in one day and it was done to perfection. They cleaned up when they were finished and double checked that we were satisfied before leaving. They were timely, professional and worked around our schedule.

Got the estimate and was told when the windows would be in. It took an extra two to three weeks for the windows to come in. I had to call them each week to check on the status. In two of the bedrooms upstairs they didn't cover any of the furniture thus the rooms were totally covered with sheet rock dust. Took forever to clean the rooms. I complained and was basically told "they should've covered the furniture." Another thing that gripes me is if someone that recommends them to someone then the person that recommends gets $50 dollars from window world. Well my next door neighbor recommended them to us. My wife told window world that our next door neighbor recommended them thus they should get the $50. They agreed since both of us had well over the minimum required windows installed. My wife has called window world 4 times and they always say they are going to send the check to our neighbor. I just checked with the neighbor again, no check and we had this done in August. I know $50 isn't much but it's the principle of keeping your word....,regardless. Don't know if I will use them again. I have downstairs windows that will need replacing in the spring. If I can count on them to not trash the rooms and send my neighbor the freaking check we'll see.

Even after the third crew and a total of 10 trips to install, I still have remaining issues. They installed some wrap off level. It is crooked on the front of my house and they are now refusing to come back to fix it. From the owner's own words he is not going to spend any more money on this. I contacted corporate and spoke with David, Manager of Customer Relations and he was no more help than the Memphis owner. I was told that Kelly is an independent franchise owner and while he would be happy to mediate his hands were tied and all decisions were ultimately Kelly's to make.
I could add much more about unprofessionalism, shattered glass littering my home left uncleaned, and on and on, but suffice to say Window World apparently views 10 trips to install windows something to brag about, because they brag about how they've done everything I've asked to try to make us happy. Everything, that is, except get it right and not waste my time.
To top it off, I just received a certified letter from Window World stating they deem it necessary to rescind the lifetime warranty on my windows due to a ?hostile environment?. They continue to say ?the position can be resolved if (you) retract unflattering comments and several untrue statements that were posted online to several social media sites; Window World will reconsider this decision to fully warranty the windows installed if this is done but we must have verification of the retraction from each site.?
First, no statement I have published has been untrue. Also I must confess I find this very confusing. How hostile can an environment be if it will be deemed no-longer-hostile by virtue of my retracting online reviews? My confusion is further compounded by the fact that the letter was cc?d to Kannon Conway, Harris Shelton PLLC. Rescinding my warranty and in the same breath offering to reinstate it if I retract statements posted online seems to fall squarely under the coercion into a particular action or statement thing (as blackmail is defined on dictionary.com).
Did they really blackmail me and cc their lawyers the proof or am I missing something?

It went quite well. They were prompt and they were friendly. They were very professional. They gave me a demonstration on how well the windows perform. The price range was very good. I was intending on doing only the front side of the house but after they gave me their price quote, I had them do the entire house. There was one window that didn't quite close well but with a little finagling, it does close.

The sales person that met with us was professional and let us know what to expect when replacing windows. From choosing colors to contacting our alarm company. It took about 5 weeks for the windows to come in and a convenient date was set. A crew of four men showed up on the prearranged date for installation. It took them all day. When they left there was no mess just my brand new windows. The are great. No more rotten wood to deal with. Window world offers a lifetime guarantee on their windows . This is transferable to the next owner of the house.

They were real nice and friendly. They had a show room and I went over and looked at the product before I got. They order to them and then it took awhile to get them back. If I had been in a hurry for them that might have been a problem, but I wasn't in a hurry.

Called them to replace 3 broken windows and two rotted ones. The salesman (Don) suggested replacing all the ground floor windows. We thought the price was a little high, but he came back with a better price and we said OK.
8 weeks later they came and replaced 16 windows -- all except the 3 broken ones and 2 rotted ones. They're response "Well you should have noticed that on the contract. It will be another $800 for the other windows."
Obviously the better price simply involved not replacing the windows that needed replacing and figuring we'd have no choice but to replace them after they did the rest of the house. Fairly obvious scam.
The windows that were replaced (the good windows) look fine. No fault with them. So far.

I got an estimate for replacement windows in March of 2010 and had the salesman out again for a final estimate in early June and ordered the windows. He said the windows would be in in 4-6 wks. I called the office after waiting 6 weeks and they said the windows would be on the truck that Friday. This went on week after week, the windows will be on the truck this Friday. When I tried to contact the salesman directly he said he had nothing to do with customers after he put the order in. As it turns out they were waiting for one last window from the manufacturer so that they could install all the windows at once. They finally agreed to put in the windows that they did have, 10 weeks after placing the order. The installers came and did a very quick installation but two windows were ordered incorrectly by the salesman, without grids. After confirming that I had correctly ordered and paid extra for these windows I was told that I would have to pay an extra $75 to have them correct their error! I had to wait another 6 weeks before all the windows were finally installed. Unfortunately, the one window we waited so long for was installed with a ripped screen and missing weeping hole covers. The installer PROMISED he would be back in two days to fix it. Weeks went by and no fix. I called the office once or twice a week from November until the end of January and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. No message was ever returned. In February of 2011 I finally spoke to the same woman I had been speaking to since the summer of 2010 she swore up and down she had no knowledge of any problems with my windows. I asked several times to speak to a manager or someone in charge and never was put through to any one but this woman. This company is the epitome of CUSTOMER NO SERVICE. Do not use this company, don't be fooled by their advertising. This company advertises a certain cost for their windows, don't be fooled. They have added on charges for everything you can imagine and the windows end up costing you way more than think. Get other estimates and don't bother with Window World, they are not worth your time and effort. I had the best energy efficient windows installed and they feel just as cold all winter as my old builder grade windows. The window quality is just as poor as the customer service.

They sent over the worst crew that I have ever seen in my lifetime. Never on time was suppose to take one day took them about 3 weeks. One excuse after another. Kept calling a getting the runaround. The windows are nice but I would never ever use them again. In the end they sent another crew over and they finished the job. They did good work and were here when they said they would be here.Wish they came the first time

This is an old house that I'm renovating to its original arts-and-crafts style. It's had extensive work done on the interior woodwork, so I wanted to minimize any damage to that. The estimator arrived on time and offered many helpful suggestions, including the option to do all the tear-out and install work from the outside, leaving the interior woodwork (aside from the window sashes themselves) intact. We went with that. The window units themselves come with several trim options for grids between the two panes. I chose the 1/4" brass rod grid, which complements the interior decoration schemes in all three rooms and is much less obtrusive than the old iron grills. The window units arrived from the factory on schedule, but the exterior trim "coil" (aluminum siding) was delayed in shipment. Installation was a week past the as-advertised 4-to-6 week lead time. On installation day, the install crew was supposed to arrive at 8:30 but didn't show up until after I'd called the company at 9:15. They went straight to work; were friendly, competent and very careful; cleaned up well; and were done by about 3:30. One issue I hadn't expected has to do with my window air conditioner. The new window framing has a bottom lip that extends 1/2" above the window sill. The A/C is designed to sit right on the sill so that didn't work with the new structure. I had to rig a support structure from 3/4" square stock that I screwed to the sill. The windows look good and my experience so far is that room temps on the sunny exposure are much nicer than they were with the old windows.

We had problems with the workers showing up as they said they were. We have had a lot of rainy weather here, so I will give them a little break. When they did arrive they worked from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They came back the next day at 6:00 a.m to finish it up. I have no complaints. We are waiting to see how the windows hold up afer a year or so.

I did my research on replacement windows and found that the prices vary greatly. Window World was the least expensive, and that was part of the reason I went with them. Also, their window appeared just as good as the ones that were over twice the price. I am totally pleased with everything about the transaction. Price, service and quality are all great.

The service I got was great. I spent a little extra to get the thermo pane glass and the price included the installation and a lifetime guarantee against any kind of breakage. They look really good and they did a good job of sealing up around them. I couldn t be happier with my windows.

Window World of Memphis custom made our new windows. Almost every single one of our windows was a different size. When she explained to me what she had to do, I knew I wasn't going to get it any cheaper. They did a great job.
