Great! I'm so pleased for finding this new vet. Got me in as a new customer the first day I called, treated my cat like a champ, recognized his anxiety as such (others have misdiagnosed his "panting" as a heart condition), provided a treatment plan that's workable, didn't suggest a battery of useless tests, and got us out of their in record time. I am impressed!

Jennifer Clay is a wonderful veterinarian who goes above and beyond to make sure her patients (and their families) are cared for. She and her staff do not hesitate to think outside the box, are incredibly open to owner input (something uncommon among many other veterinarians in the Memphis area), and willing to tell you their limitations and make referrals for appropriate care if she cannot provide it there. We love Dr. Clay and her staff and couldn't imagine anyone else taking care of our pets. We recommend her to everyone looking for veterinary care.

I can NOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS about Dr. Jen. I try to do,
what I call, middle of the road holistic health care for my dog and cat. We use
all natural products first and only move on to traditional medicine secondly.
Dr. Jen is very open to my ideas and questions. She explains
things in a wonderful way that truly makes me feel like we were a team working
to find the best options for my fuzzy kids!
Dr. Jen is always great about being open if she does not have
knowledge about a topic or product. The best part is that she will then do
research and emails me what she discovers. I can not say enough about the level
of care that she gives to her patients along with the follow through she
provides.

We recently moved to another state and I can not tell you
how sad we are that Dr. Jen could not move with us.

They were able to provide us with a name of a different clinic. They kind of put me off. I felt like they did not want to deal with me.

The reason I recommend Dr. Clay and her staff so highly is her treatment of my elderly chocolate Larador, who died a little over a year ago. I had been paying over $100 dollars a month for her arthritis medication at another clinic. Whe they told me that it was going up to $180, I decided to try Utopia, on a friend's recommendation. Dr. clay did a thorough exam, and prescribed a generic drug that worked just as well. She helped me find a pharmacy that would charge only $4 per month for the medication. When it was finally time to put my dog to sleep, Dr. Clay and her assistant came to my house. They were incredibly gentle as they eased her passing. Her assistant cried. They took care of everything, taking the body and returning her cremated remains to me.

I say this is a very good vet and the practice has very good people. I will use them practice again in the future. The price is very good; that's the reason I went.

I started taking my two dogs and one cat to Dr. Clay in 2008. I had an elderly Labrador with severe arthritus, and I had been paying almost $100 per month for medication. Dr. Clay prescribed a generic that worked very well, and that was covered by Ike's $4 generic policy. When I recently had to have this dog put to sleep, Dr. Clay and her assistant came to my house. They were very gentle and caring. I was able to have my dog cremated and get her ashes back for a very reasonable fee. Dr. Clay tries to hold costs down without ever sacrificing quality of care.

Dr. Jennifer Clay is absolutely wonderful! They have gone out of their way to make the exam rooms comfortable for animals and humans. She takes extra time to make sure the animals are not afraid of her, and that I am at ease. She is extremely reasonably priced. I have had people from the clinic call back to check on the wellness of my ill pet, and how she is doing. Anytime I have had questions I have been able to call and Dr. Clay or an assistant has given me information right then. My most recent visit was for vaccinations. On another visit I mentioned one was not eating as much. They made recommendations and even called back to make sure he was eating again.
