Rentals - Equipment
I have really liked uhaul at a number of locations in several cities, but this one was the worst. Although the representatives from the national office told me that pricing was national (i.e. $20 a day for 1-24 hours). The guy at this Memphis location kept telling me that he was cutting us a deal and doing us a big favor by not charging us for another whole 24 hours, when we were getting the truck overnight (for less than 24 hours). Apparently this is a common scam among local Uhaul locations, because several that I called tried to do this too. When we returned the truck they claimed we had driven more miles than we had. It was even written on their rental agreement! I have never felt so scammed.
