Tennessee Moving & Storage

I just wanted to say I have used Tennessee Moving & Storage for my past 3 moves. These guys are on time and very careful with my personal belongings. They are competitively priced and get the job done to my fullest expectations! I give them a 5 out of 5 and recommend them to all my friends! Thank You Scott for your professionalism and general concern for a quality service.

All movers were given explicit instructions as to how the process should be executed, including explicit instructions as to where all of the items should be placed which had been color coded and numbered pertaining to which room each item belonged. Upon my arrival of the destination location, to my dismay, I found that all instruction had been disregarded and a majority of my company's valuable merchandise had been removed from their LOCKED cabinetry (without my authority to do so) and thrown in piles on the floor, these items had been sorted, organized and locked to avoid damage of this live merchandise up for purchase on our company's website. This sort of organization took myself and my staff two months to attain, and we are now having to start over from scratch after this disruption. To add insult to injury, I am faced with multiple instances of property damage to this place that I have not been a tenant of for even a month due to the negligence of the moving staff. This damage includes a dented exterior door handle, scuffed and scraped fresh paint to entry stairwell, broken wheels to ALL of my company's 5 industrial clothing racks, ripped carpeting, and bent office cabinetry. I notified Scott of the damages and was asked to send a detailed email describing the damages along with photographs. I sent 40+ pictures as well as the email, promptly, and never heard back from them. Two weeks after the email was sent and I hadn't heard from the company so I called, and was told their insurance was looking into it. Another two weeks had passed by and I had not heard anything since, so I called again and was greeted with hostility from Scotts end telling me that he would not be moving forward without before pictures of the damages. How would I have before pictures of this new property that I had leased literally the day before we had moved in? Why would I have a picture of the door knob? It's ludicrous and a terrible way to do business. It took him over a month to respond to my email, and he replied asking for before pictures just to cover his tracks. Have not heard from him since, but I did notify him that I would leave a review here on Angie's List as well as file a complaint with the BBB. I will most certainly never be contacting this company again, and please ware with caution if you have any interest to do so.

The guys sent by the provider were stoned when they got there. I could smell Marajuana smoke as soon as they walked in. They were slow (stoned), lazy, forgot things, broke furniture, and did not even finish the job. I had to move that day, so I was stuck with these incredibly incompetent and lazy fools. I complained to the owner, who told me who to call to get my furniture fixed. The turn-around time on the repairs was so long I did not even bother. Never, never, never use this moving company!

The first two times I had used this company, they were just fantastic and that is why I called them again for my most recent move. They were friendly, personable and easy to work with. They also seem to make good use of their time and do things pretty efficiently. I would not use them again, however, because this time when I moved, I had a whole lot of things broken. I was not happy about that. I felt like more time should have been spent on cautiously handling my belongings.
