I only needed a garage door but the existing structure of the garage would not allow a standard or even a low door to be installed. All rafters and joists had to be replaced, some of the old slab had to be dug up and new concrete poured, (really happy with the results on the concrete). In addition I had the entire front gable replaced, the roof replaced (not in original plan), all trim replaced and garage painted. I'm really happy with the finished product. The project manager Mark was on top of everything right from the initial estimate. He kept me updated on the progress and what would be done from day to day. I also appreciate his patience the day I didn't lock my dogs up and put the whole project off by a day.

I got 3 estimates before I chose Superior for the work. In discussing the options for the renovation Mark's suggestions made the most sense to me and I'm very happy I went with Superior. They'll be the first ones I call in the future.

It went quite well.  I would like to commend Mr. Lester and his staff for the great job of building the ramp and getting the work done within a short timeline.  We have had a number positive comments on the ramp upon visiting my mother's home.

In August of 2014, my mother fell and fractured her hip.  She was hospitalized, had surgery and spent a couple of months in a rehabilitation facility.  In meeting with the physical therapists, it was recommended that I consider building a handicap ramp.

Several months prior, I had been looking for someone to build a ramp; however, I was not successful in finding a licensed contractor who had built a ramp....so I put it on my "To Do" list.  Now I was faced with finding a contractor with the added stress of finding someone within a matter of weeks.  I scanned my Angie's List of contractors and hound Superior Home Products, Inc. 

While  they were not listed among the top five, I was impressed with the reviews of their previous clients  I contacted Mr. Lester who came out immediately to discuss my needs.  He informed me that he was currently working on a couple of assignments which he expected to take two or three weeks.  When I explained my need to have the ramp done sooner because of my mother's injury and the fact that she was soon to be released from the rehab facility, he  told me that her would go back to his office and review the jobs he had scheduled and do what he could to work the ramp into his schedule.  Within a few days, he called and told me to call him as soon as I knew the date my mother would be released to come home and he would schedule a couple  of his carpenters to come out and build the ramp. 

As promised, a week before her return home, two of his most talented carpenters arrived at my mother's home to build the ramp. Within a matter of days, the ramp was completed.  I am very pleased with the ramp would recommend Superior Home Products, Inc. without reservations.

The work went fine! I couldn't be happier with the results. I lived in space during construction.

I am very satisfied with the work. They have been great. I liked the price because I had several estimates and their price weren't the cheapest one, but it was right within the range.

It has always been excellent.

Everything was well done the first time except one piece of siding that I was not happy with and they redid that without hesitation. They replaced a window, some outside trim, some siding and the large piece of lumber across the garage door opening. Squirrels or some other animal had eaten some of the trim and the men doing the work replaced the trim and wrapped some metal around it to keep the animals from eating it again. They did the same on the large piece of wood above the garage door opening to keep it rotting again. The men doing the work were all nice and polite and left the area cIean. To me, the price was a little bit too high, but I would probably think that about most, if not all pricing. I would hire them again. In fact, Sam and his men are going to be doing some more work for me when he can get it on his schedule--again where the animals have eaten the siding and trim.

Sam patiently explained wall removal options and quickly provided a fair quote. The work was scheduled and completed as promised. They were friendly, professional and did a fantastic job! The drywall was finished very well and the trim looks amazing!!

The overall project went well. My primary concern was finishing in time for Christmas for a large family Christmas we had planned. Sam and his men worked late on Dec. 23rd to get the room ready for our visitors. We had a few problems with painters and mudders (subcontractors) but Sam corrected all of the issues.
They were also very fair when issues arose. In the initial bid/contract Sam had misread the blue prints and didn't include the cabinets in the laundry room, so he installed the cabinets at no charge for the cabinets or the work. Also they had to install a beam across the kitchen/living room and due to a miscommunication the beam was installed so that it was a foot below the kitchen ceiling when I wanted it flush so that you couldn't tell it was there and so that the new living room looks like it was part of the same room as the kitchen. Sam has the roofing guys come back out and redo it and split the cost 50/50 with me.
He also fixed the fence and added a two door gate when they had to remove a section of fence for the cement trucks to access the back of the house. He also fixed my front sidewalk and the end of my driveway as part of the project. Overall everything looks great and the project went very well and the necessary parts were finished in time for Christmas, with some of the touch ups and outside work being finished after the holidays and after all of the bad weather we had this winter.

The challenge was to finish the unused attic into a dream master closet. We installed a 4' tread spiral staircase which now leads to the huge custom closet. We hung an antique chandelier over the spiral staircase, LED spots for the racks of clothes and crystal sconces by an antique vanity. Heated and Air Conditioned, this closet added over 300 sq ft to the house. We installed a tankless hot water system to reduce the footprint required for hot water heater.

The light fixtures are all on dimmers. The carpet is amazingly soft and plush. The custom closet organizers (by Incognito Closets) were arranged so my husband also had adequate space for his clothes. (I have a shoe closet downstairs so we both have all our clothes upstairs in the new closet).

I would recommend this process to anyone who wants a dream closet. Look for unused attic space and get creative about how to get to it. We had to have the spiral staircase approved by the code office - so that is an important part of planning.

All employees we dealt with (Sam Lester, owner/manager, Mark and Richard-workers) were outstanding! All were pleasant to be around, worked hard and did a great job. There was a lot of extra work involved due to the fact that it was done on the 9th floor of a high rise, but they handled it all very professionally.

I have had contact with this company for a long time. Years ago, they helped me quite a bit by repairing a very old window after a burglary. They went overboard by searching for and locating materials that were no longer manufactured in order to fix my old window, and they were the only company that was willing to go the extra mile to help someone with limited resources. Now I'm finally replacing all my old windows. I chose them to do this job for their kindness and conscientiousness, as well as their expertise and great reputation (no complaints on the internet, and a grade of A+ with no complaints with BBB). They replaced 11 vinyl windows. The windows are high quality and the installers' workmanship and neatness were first rate. All three installers appeared intelligent, personable, polite and professional. They were relaxed and took their time to do the job right, in spite of a heat index of over 100. Their secretary also seems kind and capable. I wish all repair people lived up to these standards.

Everything went smooth. The only delay we had was getting delivery of the roof window. Speaking of the roof window, all interior finishing was done in wood. I really like it. We had some dust problems associated with the wall board finishing but that is to be expected. Overall, I am very happy with what was done and will probably have Sam do more work.

It was a good experience. They were prompt, gave me the quote quickly. The workman were polite, cleaned up after themselves, and followed up. They were quick, timely, and did good work.

Sam and his crew were able to work with our budget and spread the installation over 4 months. They showed up when they said they would and gave very accurate estimates on how long each installation would take. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

The garage now looks like an office. They did the job from top to bottom. They took care of the things in the garage so that it didn’t get damaged. There was termite damage. It was really worth it for everything that they did. The price was slightly more than I thought it would be and it was also slightly more than I quoted. I don’t object to someone who is in the ballpark and they were within $100. So I felt it was slightly more. They were good. We called them and then they came out to do the estimate. We approved it and they got the work done within a week. This was not during a period of slow work. They had numerous jobs going, but they had efficient personnel. They could devote an entire crew for my house. I used to be a contractor and you make your money on turnover. You finish a job and get to the next job. You don’t want to keep coming back. They did everything that they were supposed to do. They took 5 days to get the work done and it was worth the money that I paid. They cleaned up everything every single day. They had a 55 gallon drum with a trash bag in it. They used to fill it everyday, tie it and take it with them. There was nothing left. They took away scraps of lumber, sawdust and pieces of wire. I would use their services in the future in a heartbeat.

Sam Lester was one of four contractors that we had bid on the house. His price was the best price. He showed up exactly when he said he would for the estimates. He gave us an expected start date that coincided with his estimate of when the 'big box' would have our special order materials available. When the project was ready to start, Sam and his craftsman showed up on time and when we expected them. Sam gave us daily updates by phone summarizing progress and discussing issues as they arose. The job took a couple of days longer than expected due to issues, not Sam's fault. He simply adjusted and finished the job per our agreed to scope. The work was excellent, flawless in fact. Overall, Sam was an excellent contractor. His price was good, work was excellent, and he was a pleasure for both of us to work with.

I thought they were the best builder for my project even though they had the highest estimate. They had the best references, they were bonded, had been in business the longest and they gave me everything in writing with a deadline to finish it. I just felt that they and their sub contractors were the most professional builders.

I was basically happy with the service. They were professional and friendly. They did get the job done on time. There are some things that I am not so pleased with. For example, I wanted Pergo flooring like I had at my old home. The floors did not turn out right not like at home. I thought the price was a little high also.

Mr. Lester who owned Superior did an excellent job for me. He has done additions and remodeling jobs, even smaller ones. They finished on time and all of the sub contractors he used did top notch work. You could trust him for quality work, prices and service. They really took pride in their work and were a pleasure to do business with. You would have to call them out for an estimate because the price may vary greatly depending on your wants and needs.
