The repairmen, Will and Terry, arrived on time and diagnosed the issue quickly. They had the part in their truck and completed the repair. They replaced the surface igniter, checked and cleaned the flame sensor and pressure switch. They were friendly and worked professionally.

I’ve been a loyal Ray Baker customer for several years and use them yearly to do the backflow valve checks on my sprinkler system. So when the valve ruptured due to cold weather I obviously called them. They told me they were very busy due to the cold. I asked if they could just have someone come turn off the valve, I could wait until a later date to have them fix it. They agreed. The plumber arrived later in the afternoon and took 2mins to turn off the valve. I was then given a bill for $65 and told they gave me a discount. The plumber also said they would have usually waived the fee but since they were busy.....well, they won’t need to service my house any more. I can’t believe I was charged that much to turn off a valve they knew I would hire them to fix. I will find someone else to fix it and do the yearly backflow checks. Very disappointed they felt the need to charge so much to a loyal customer for simply turning off a valve.

They are excellent. I use them a lot.

Two plumbers were dispatched. They arrived on time and worked about 3 hours. They were professional, polite, and neat in their work. They had given me an estimate for the work before they started. And the final invoice was what they had estimated. I've used Ray Baker several times, since I have a 60 year old house, and have always been happy with their work. And I'm sure I will have to use them again.

We have had no further issues with the pilot light going out.

Plumber was less than knowledgeable. I got a replacement piece, and he and a coworker came over to install. In the process they broke a pipe to my shower and then, hoping I wouldn't notice they'd broken the system beyond repair, they told me I needed to buy a whole new shower kit ($400+) because my replacement piece wouldn't fit (I screwed it in without issue after they left). When I confronted the company, they said they would not pay for a new system, despite admitting to breaking it. I would pursue legal action, but I'll let karma work its magic on these fools.

I had tried to install a faucet myself and had to call them to come in and fix it. They discovered my plumbing under the kitchen sink was hooked up all wrong. He even went to Home Depot to get a part that wasn't in the packaging for the faucet on his own time. 

They are good and have been around for a long time and they are local.

They installed a new garbage disposal.

Excellent.  If there was an A+ category, I would rate them A+ for everything.  Bob was extremely knowledgable, most customer-friendly, and took care of the problems.  This was also an after-hours job starting around 730PM and ending around 9PM - as we found a large faucet leak upon returning home after being away for 3 days.  Thank YOU!

Vern did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing the line, then ran the dishwasher to make sure there leak was gone, which it was.

When the hot water heater quit working on Saturday morning I called Ray E. Baker. They sent a service man out in about 2 hours.  
He went to the attic and diagnosed the problem quickly.  The service man had the part needed on his truck and completed the repair in less than an hour.  He was polite and quiet.  I called the office on Monday and paid by credit card.  It has been two weeks now and the repair job is holding.
I've used Ray E. Baker several times before for heating, air conditioning, and plumbing.  They have always been great and I will use them again.
