Rachel's Day Spa

The manicurist started the manicure and was supposed to finish my nails after the massage, but when I came out form my massage, she was gone. My daughter sat on the manicurist's chair and finished painting my fingernail. The owner said that she was sorry. She didn't realize that the manicurist had not finish the job and said she would not charge us for the manicure, which was fine, but it was still a bad experience.

Went to Rachel's as a first-time, walk-in customer for a flat-iron only (no shampoo,etc.). I was told that I get in within 15 minutes. I had to get back to the office (a short walk away) and came back at 4 pm instead. The stylist, Renee, did an excellent job on my hair and was done in less than 20 minutes. I've already made an appointment for tomorrow.

I go here about once a month. I will continue to go here in the future for haircuts.

I love Rachel's! I have been going there for several years now and I always receive wonderful service. They are welcoming and friendly and always willing to work with me on times. You are always able to get an appointment quickly and easily. I work in East Memphis now and while it would be much more convenient for me to go to a salon out east, I choose to continue to go downtown because of the great service.

I have been to many high end salons and day spas around Memphis, and I have found that at Rachel's I get consistently great service in an always warm and welcoming atmosphere. They are top-notch, without the pretentious atmosphere that I hate at some places around town. Gail cuts and colors my hair, and she does a beautiful job. They sell and use Aveda products, which I adore, so the place always smells divine, as well!
