I have never had a more impolite or confusing interaction in my life. I felt like I must have wronged this woman in some way to be treated with such distain? She did not greet me or say anything traditional to start, she just abrasively stated that she did not know why I was in her office. When I told her I was there for a plastic surgeon to remove the cyst, or an opinion on that, she reluctantly examined me. She then described an incision that would extend across the outside of my nose. Hearing that, combined with her attitude, brought me to tears. Wanting this thing removed so badly I choked out "when can you do it"? She cocked her head 3 times requiring me to repeat myself. Finally she says, " I understand the question I'm just confused about what you want. You're sitting here crying yet you say you want me to do surgery"? I told her I wanted all the information and to have this thing on my face removed quickly since it was growing. She then expressed disbelief towards my statement saying I should come back in a week so she could "prove" it wasn't growing. I didn't bother to show her the photos I have of the daily growth, at this point since I was not going to return to her. It was further clear that she did not read the radiologists notes from my CT scan which supported my statements. I left shook up and in tears. I have no idea what set her off before she came into my exam room, but she is unprofessional and simply unkind. She made me uncomfortable a scary situation even worse. The biggest shock to me is that I went to a hospital for women, thinking Dr. Quigley would be special, or at least appropriate and understanding to my middle aged, woman needs... or something; I couldn't have been more wrong.

Overall, the surgery center's staff was friendly and efficient. And I plan to revisit Dr. Tavin for future procedures.

I just joined Angie's List or I would have written this review immediately after.  I could not have been in more capable and caring hands.  The initial operation went exceptionally well as did all the procedures that ensued.  With reconstruction your a familiar face at the doctor's office.  They always made me feel I was their only patient and my health and peace of mind their priority.  If I called with a concern they responded immediately.  When I went for an appointment I was seen on time.  It's been almost 8 years since my surgery and I couldn't be more satisfied with the care and follow-up that I have received from the Doctor and his staff.

They are a long standing and well established group in Memphis. They are very skilled surgeons, and I liked that they were very prompt at seeing me at my appointment time.  I had a hereditary eyelid problem that I went to them for.  It was not traditional eyelid surgery.  It was a very successful and I thought their prices were up to par with the other plastic surgeons in Memphis.  I would continue to use their services in the future if needed. 

She was recommended by 4 separate people that didn't even know each other.  She's wonderful and she's really, really good at what she does.  There's no wait time, it's excellent.  They get one in right away.  Her staff is really, really nice.

The interaction with them was very pleasant. The doctor's communication was good. I don't have any competitive place, so it is hard to say if I would use them again or not.

I went in for my first visit and he was very straightforward without being abrupt (rare in surgeons). Then when it came time to do the surgery, he was great from start to finish. I had the surgery at the same time I had to have a hysterectomy. The hysterectomy (done by a different physician) did not go well, and I had to be taken back to the OR. It was no one's fault--just one of those things--but Dr. Burruss made the call to take me back to surgery and was SO concerned about me as I recovered throughout the night (I lost a lot of blood and everyone was pretty worried). He gave me such individualized attention. I could not have asked for better care. I have sent friends to him and they have all said the same thing. Go see him. You will not be sorry.
