Lanigan's Worldwide Moving & Warehouse/Allied Agen

Sales rep was a nice guy and I am sure he thought he was telling me the truth. What was promised and what was delivered were not the same thing. After promising they would, they did not properly protect my carpet at the origin or destination and it ended up dirty and needing professional cleaning. They estimated they would be finished loading late in the afternoon. At 8:30 that night they were still there, loading a truck with NO interior lights and had run out of furniture pads. Rudely asked me to park my car and turn on lights so they could see. I did that for 45 minutes. They broke 3 antique pieces with me urging them to be careful with those pieces. One of the guys apologized to me twice for it taking so long and saying that it shouldn't have. He said if he had been in charge he would have done it differently. There were three guys handling the move. When I tried to call the office later the owner was always "out." I made several calls before catching her. She was of very little help and acted like she didn't wanted to be bothered. Even though she knew the move went badly, she offered no compensation and just a cursory "Sorry you weren't satisfied." They are an Allied Agent. Although Allied Corporate was polite and helpful, I would use a different Allied Agent, but not Lanigan Worldwide Moving and Storage.
