Jiffy Lube

The service was great. They recommend what they think needs to be done. When asked how the air filter was, they removed it and showed me it was fine. They seem to be very honest and not do unneccessary service

My wife took her car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. The next morning she noticed a 10 inch diameter puddle of oil underneath the car on the driveway. I looked underneath the car and could see oil drops hanging from the frame. I told her to go back to Jiffy Lube and tell them. I was guessing they had done a sloppy job and allowed the oil to drain against the frame. I was shocked by the response she received. They told her there was no oil leaking from the car and that she must be confused about where the oil on the driveway came from originally. They also told her they had other customers waiting and could not spend additional time on a nonexistent problem.
She then took the car to Wolfchase Toyota. They discovered the oil was allowed to drain all over the frame underneath the car and the oil drain plug was not tightened. They cleaned up the oil on the frame and tightened the drain plug. This solved the problem and they did not even charge for the service.
The Jiffy Lube manager was unprofessional and dishonest about the service he provided. All he had to do was admit the service was not performed properly, clean up the oil on the frame, check the drain plug, and apologize for the inconvenience.
We will never take another vehicle to Jiffy Lube for an oil change.

My wife's car was leaking oil after having an oil change completed at Jiffy Lube. After returning to Jiffy Lube and being told she was imagining oil was leaking, she took the car to Wolfchase Toyota. They discovered Jiffy Lube had allowed the oil to drain all over the bottom of the car and did not tighten the oil drain plug. They cleaned up the oil underneath the frame and tightened the drain plug. This solved the problem and they did not change anything for the service.
