Home ReNewal Painting and Refinishing
About us
Home ReNewal Painting provides interior repainting and expert cabinet and vanity refinishing. I paint and glaze kitchen cabinets, restoring or changing finishes to a refined, factory-smooth look. Prep matters: floors are covered, the work area is isolated with plastic, and a dust remover is vented outside (or bagged) to keep dust down. Bad brush marks, drips, and heavy paint are corrected. Stained cabinets can be revived without removing doors, or we can sand back and re-stain. No middleman contractors — decades of experience in all phases of interior repainting. Typical timeline: doors and drawer fronts are taken to the shop for about a week, then we return for on-site prep, coating, and reinstallation. Depending on size and condition, several visits follow; prep commonly takes three to four days and can extend through the week for larger sets (a 50-door job naturally takes longer than 18). Your microwave, fridge, and kitchen sink remain usable. Learn more: https://www.paintfaux.com .

Bobby and Kimberly did a wonderful job. The cabinet finish is sleek and shines as if foil covered. I stayed home with them the first day but after that I would let them in and they would lock up when finished. They were very careful to protect my floors and counters and tried there best to keep the dust down.
I would definitely recommend them and will be hiring them to paint several rooms as soon as they are available.
"Thank you for the wonderful review. But you left off the fact that he worked well with a grumpy, growly dog named Ginger! : )"
"Thank you for your patience [member name removed]. I am working on that, it was unexpected that I had so little help and I was afraid to hire without deeper knowledge of whom I was to bring over."
"This was a fun project for a great customer. We experimented with colors till we got what they liked. Our charge was for labor, $2400.00. The additional costs were for adding the trim, which ran about 350.00, it is very high grade material not found at the Big Box stores. We sent a friend to do this but were there working and to help if called upon, it was oak crown plus some nice rope trim. We added 300.00 to do the hidden hinges, having the cup hole drilling done by a local shop we trust---and they provided the hidden hinges and screws, we did the installation which included leveling All in all, materials were not especially expensive, but those were good quality and we made a custom very low sheen finish by mixing flat with satin high performance waterbased clear, which was the only thing we sprayed inside after covering everything up. All in all, the result is an enduring decorative look for the same price as a granite countertop or some Very cheap replacement cabinets. It was a pretty long drive there with the major prepper driving from Arkansas to Oakland, but it went well, but it did take about 8-9 business days to complete, tweak, and clean up. We provided a 5 year touch up and trouble shoot warranty, meaning that if there is trouble we will touch up, and of course we would do this even if they accidentally scratch it, but such a case there might be a trip charge. We also assisted them in modifying the mantle to blend in, but did no labor other than just to demonstrate. I am looking forward to seeing how things look once the backsplash and wall paint are finished."
"Thank you for the wonderful review. I wanted to point out that this is the second home of yours, that I have had the pleasure of working on. I am guessing it was around 2000, or even earlier, that you had me paint the kitchen cabinets in your old home. I also painted a little bench for you that matched your custom black distressed furniture.I am looking forward to any additional projects in the years to come. Thanks again....Bobby."
The cabinet doors were removed and taken to an off site location for prepping
Hung cabinets and base cabinets were cleaned, sanded, and prepped
The painting involved several steps to get the desired result; painter finished in a timely fashion
Once finished, new hardware and bumpers were placed on the doors and drawers
The kitchen was left clean and the cabinets are beautiful
Was always adding on money needs, such as a screwdriver, extra paint etc. Didn't paint the trim work. Sanded some areas of the wall after painting and it is dull.
Never use this man.
