They have been excellent and are very quick. They remove all debris and remove it as well every time. They are very reliable, hard working, and professional. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great people. Trip and Brad a easy to deal with and have for years treated me fairl. They handle all of my yards needs often without having to be called. There employees are outstanding and will tackle any job with great speed and better quality. I can not see myself calling anybody else.

We have used the English Garden for two years now and would highly
recommend this company. Brad has always been very responsive in meeting
with me (usually working around my schedule and coming after normal
business hours or weekends), quick to send estimates and schedule work.
We have had drains placed, planting beds created, hardscape, sod, and a
considerable amount of planting done. We have been very satisfied with
all of their work. They are also extremely reasonably priced. We
continue to use their services for yard maintenance and will definitely
use them in the future for bigger projects.

English Garden provided a quick estimate and kept us advised of their schedule. They also scheduled around our schedule. Work was performed quickly (basically one day by a full crew) to minimize disruptions to us.

Best of all, the bill was less than the estimate by a substantial amount (around $700) which was a nice surprise and demonstrated their honesty and professionalism.

Better yet, after the storm (immediately after the landscaping), they followed up with some follow up problems resulting from the storm.

We couldn't have asked for better and are more than pleased with English Garden. We recommend them to anyone needing quality landscaping!

Update:

Due to water problems, had to install french drain. Installation was fine. However, all the grass died on top of the french drain and three bushes died. They advised they were coming back, but didn't, , so am faced with hiring another contractor to complete the work and correct the problems.

Overall, just a bad taste from the experience. I shouldn't have to beg someone to come back to correct a problem. I am tired of people saying they will come back and never do, I just make sure I never use them again.

I'm not pleased with them. They have a big outfit and they work year round. They cut my grass and edge it. Their prices are fair but I'm not pleased with the work they do. They cut my grass with mowers that were not sharp and it ruined my grass. When they mow my grass they cut it too low and dust flies all over my cars. I tried contacting the owner to come look at it and he came out at a bad time and has not been back.

I first contacted the company the week after Christmas only to find that is a week many landscape professionals take off. I left my name and number, however, and a brief description of my needs and was promptly contacted, as promised, during the first week of January. A site visit was made within two weeks of that follow-up conversation and a suggested design was received a week later. The work was then scheduled and completed during the first days of February. The flower beds were dug up, filled with new soil, and neatly planted and mulched. The principals were wonderfully patient in helping to craft a selection that suited both my tastes and maintenance requirements and, so far, I'm very pleased with the result. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I have used English Gardens prior to joining Angie's List. He provides me with a contract at the beginning of the season. He cares for the bushes, and plants my flowers. I feel the quality of service and pricing is good. I will continue to use him in the future.

The service was very good. All the plants that were transplanted or planted survived the hot summer and still look great. Overall good experience and I will use them again in the future.

The owner's name is Trip Smith. They recently moved their office. I haven't gotten the final bill. They did a nice job.

As noted above, the company failed to follow through on my request for an estimate. I realize this is a busy season for landscape service companies, but regardless of how busy they are, they should follow through as promised. A return phone call to let me know they were too busy to take on any new accounts would have been fine.

Pleasant experience. Completed on time as promised.

They did bag the leaves when we wanted that done. They did it quickly. They did it promptly. They worked into the night to get it finished. We had no problems with their performance. I don't remember the charges for their service, but they seemed very reasonable. It wasn't cheap. It wasn't expensive. You get what you pay for. They were very prompt. We would use them again in the future.

I think they do a good job. The guy's name is Trip and he's good to talk to about what your needs are and comes to an agreement about what work needs to be done. They perform the work satisfactorily. One good things about English Garden is that you always feel that Trip, the owner, will work with you on your needs. He's not necessarily here when the work is done, but you know he'll do a good job.

We got several estimates from landscaping companies, listened to lots of ideas, and checked out websites and pictures of finished work. We decided to go with English Garden. They gave us the most reasonable estimate and Brad was open about doing the first step of clearing things out before planning so we could see what we really had. He had a team of guys come in and work hard and fast and finish the work in one day when he originally estimated it to take closer to 2 days. Every other company quoted us closer to $1500 or up for this same work. We're so pleased with this work, that we're currently asking him to help us with the design and completion of our backyard.

As far as I can tell, I think they did a fine job. I am satisfied with what they did. They were very responsive. I would recommend this company for a small area like mine. I can't really say how good this company might be as a designing.
