Enfield's Detail

About us

When we started Enfield’s Auto Reconditioning in 1986, we had only one goal in mind: be the best auto detail shop in the Mid-South. While our passion for our job has led us to expand into a full-fledged one-stop reconditioning shop in Memphis, we haven’t lost track of that goal – we still strive every day to provide the best service possible while making your car look brand new.

My Honda needed quite a bit of work. Needed a deep clean. Paint had years of living under trees. After I picked it up, the transformation was incredible. Great work, fast service and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

When we got it back, this SUV looked like it just came out of the showroom. These guys turned over everything. I was completely amazed. I would highly recommend Enfield's. You definitely need to run your vehicle by for a pre-inspection and then be prepared to leave it with them; but you will most definitely be more than pleased.

In one sentence. Even if your car is 20 years old... your car will be close to showroom clean. Been doing business there for 10 years or more. Selling your car? Want true TOP DOLLAR? YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! They never disappoint.

It was fine. I didn't pay any additional charges but I was kind of expecting a little bit more than what I thought was on there. I was thinking it was a full, inside and outside. The work that they did was outstanding.

It went well.  I found Enfield's detailing on Angies List and they had high reviews.  They did a full detail (interior and exterior cleaning, wax, engine bay).  The truck was black and although the paint was in good condition, it did have some water spots that were hard to remove.  I know, I had tried myself.
Most of the reviews on Angies List have a complete detail for $200.  My cost was $275, due to the water spots and the extra time it took to have them removed.
The truck now looks brand new.  I'll be bringing my other black cars to them.  I recommend them.
The only draw back is that they are a small shop and you need to make an appointment.

Took my car in for a complete detail. The car look fabulous when done. However, the inside door handle on the driver side door was damaged. Whatever chemicals they used took the shininess away and left it looking damaged. I called back and Steve said he would work on it to restore it. However he wanted me to come in again at 7:00 one morning for him to repair it. I'm going to call back and see if they will make time for me after work to work on it. Since that would be more convenient for my schedule. Other than that, I thought they did a great job and hopefully they will take care of me when I go back to have my handle fixed. It is not cheap but I think that they do spend a lot of time cleaning the car based on what it looked like afterwards.

Went the extra mile literally by taking the car down to a neighboring company that popped a small dent out of the back bumper. The car's upholstery was so much better!

I left my car at Enfield's over the weekend and picked it up in a few days, and it was fixed.

I had my 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL hand-washed and waxed at Enfield's.  Before taking the car to an automatic carwash, I wanted to first get it cleaned thoroughly, and to protect the paint with a good wax.  Enfield's was not cheap ($65), but did an excellent job.  I provided my own wax product, which they were happy to use.  The whole process took 1 1/2 hours, and the service was professional, punctual and individualized.  I stayed at the premises and watched the car being washed, dried and waxed.  Bruce Enfield, the owner, was there on hand, and was an excellent source of information on car cleaning products and maintenance requirements.  I especially liked the individualized service and attention.  I intend to use automatic carwashes for regular cleaning, and intend to take my car to Enfield's once every six months or so for a detailed cleaning and waxing.

I came in for an estimate and left the car a few days later. Bruce Enfield was very personable and showed me his 12 year old Tundra which looked like new. The car also looked brand new after the detailing. I couldn't be more happy. The detailing added $1000 - $2000 in value since hybrids are impossible to find and the scratches were eliminated. Great job....Bruce!
