Very nicely! The neighborhood and building is run down. However, the service, staff, and cost was superb!

I have used this dry cleaner several times since moving to Memphis in March of this year. In his profession my husband is in need of a suit and pressed (lightly starched) shirt daily. Alone, he generates quite a lot of clothing needing to be professionally dry cleaned/pressed. I am amazed at the quality of service I have received from David Palados. The staff are always friendly, the clothes look almost new when I pick them up. ( they also have a delivery service for those who desire that ) I had gotten used to and quot;okayand quot; dry cleaning but David Palados raises the bar in terms of excellence!.

I have used them twice. This time I needed to have a down comforter cleaned. I have not picked it up yet. But the first time, I dropped off several pieces of clothing that were too decorative to wash myself- they had embroidery or sequins.... I rarely use a dry cleaner - only for something I positively can't wash myself. They are an old-fashioned kind of place - and I mean that in a perfectly positive way. They are friendly, pleasant, - make you feel as if you're a regular. The building is easy to access - drive in, drop off, drive out. I was surprised to learn the first time that they don't give you a receipt or stub. But I now think that's part of the charm - we're all in this together - again - an old-fashioned feeling. The price was good. $25 for the comforter. I honestly have forgotten what the price was for the clothes, but remember feeling that it was a good value.

We have gone to several dry cleaners since moving to Memphis and these are by far the best we've tried. The staff is professional and polite. They know us by name and are great with stains, even those that may have survived one cleaning already. Shirts are pressed with correct amount of starch and everything looks great when we get it back. We will continue to use this business.

They have been in business for over 50 years. They are excellent. They do all their cleaning on-site. Your clothes aren't shifted anywhere else and done. They are a family owned business. They are very friendly and they all know who you are when you walk in the door. Their cleaning is an excellent job at an excellent price.
