"Thanks for the awesome review, Mr. [Member Name Removed]! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and we're happy to hear we hit the mark for you. Hope to work with you in the Future!"
The next morning i went to the drive way and discovered that in some patches several feet wide and long that the mixture was less than an inch thick. grass was visible thru it and i made pictures . there are places where the mixture is 5 inches thick and i would guess that is what it is supposed to be. before they started pouring the mixture over the drive way one of the workers got on sometype of machine that plowed up the drive way. He did this to a part of the drive way that measured about 20 feet long and 3 feet wide. He drove the machine under my car port and again scratched up the soil for a few feet. I would say he ran the machine aprox 20 minutes in the entire process.
He kept pouring the mixture out onto the drive way and in the beginning he tool a peice of lumber and a man got on each side and as the truck pulled it they moved it around some and leveled it,but on about 40 feet of it the mixture is so thin that none scooped up to be pushed level. It is less than an inch thick over 50 percent of the drive way. They emptied the truck and they got out of here as fast as they could.
I had become very concerned about the checks he wrote on my account and the consufion and i was scared that he had did a rip off on me.. one of those scams and i looked at the contract and saw that there was no address for the company and no phone number for the company. I called the police and asked them to look for them in the town of centerville and have them come back to my house. Then i saw their phone number on my caller id where one of them h ad called me previously and i called them and asked them to come back..they did. The police showed up too and saw that the contract had no contact information on it at all and he looked at their drivers lic and had them write it on the contract.
My drive way now is a mess. the wind and rain has washed much of it away. When the concrete that was in the stone mixture dried it turned into dust and it blows away and gets on my shoes and into my car. Its much messier than the churt drive way that i had under the mixture they poured down.
I have not called these people because I am smart enough to know that the cell phone number they had is probably changed now and that they will not come back and do anything.. the only thing they can do is bulldoze this mess away and start all over with a mixture that is wet, for one thing and that is mixed up for another and the ground would have to be prepared for it, leveled off. When it rains there are big like mud holes in my drive way..they promised that would not be. That is caused by deep indentions that they did not level out as they said why would.
the gray mud washes out into the grass when it rains and it runs down the road side where the concrete color water runs with each rain. Idoubt if it will even be in my yard at all by next summer.
I have made lots of pictures of this mess for anyone who wants to see them, but better than that, anyone can come to my home and see the ugly mess they left for me anytime, anyday.. anyone is welcome to inspect the mess they left and know that they can find anyone who can do a better job than these men did and they charged me a lot of money for it..
They took one look at me, an old woman who was obviously sick and they played the game of complimenting me on things that i have enough sense to know was a lie.. Showing me a picture i had in my house of a cousin who in her youth posed in a nght gown for a picture, a ver;y lovely picture and the elder cooper had to embarass me by saying he thought it was me.I felt like sinking into the floor. I could never look like that and he knew it well. I was insulted by his so called compliment.
Inside my car port looks as if a large bag of concrete has been poured onto the floor and never mixed with water. Just dry powder all over the floor of the car port. this makes a mess iin my car and on my shoes every time i have to walk in there.
If I had my doings to do again.. i would run these men off my property and call the police to make them stay away. They walked off with my savings and i feel cheated. I was cheated. No one would pay to have this mess poured onto their drive way.. no one but me I guess..but i hope that this will help someone else to hold their ears when these two smart alec men start their sales pitch and not listen to them. not for a minute. They know how to shine up an old woman and make her feel good and make her pull out her check book. i just read where you dont accept anonymous reviews....my address and phone number is here and anyone can see it as far as im concerned.. but the big shot Coopers should know that my husband is an ex police man from Nashville and he is armed and the house is also and they need not come to my door ever again.. They got my savings already there is no more for them here. and no reason for them to come back here.
