I have been with then for about 20 years. Always dependable and very professional. I don’t ever plan to change!

The person answering the phone and setting up the appointments was not professional. The two men that showed up (3 times) were dressed in dirty clothes and dragged dirt etc through the house. This company was the landlord's plumber of choice. I did not pay for the services. The plumber did not have a professional attitude. They did not clean up after themselves nor put items back in thier place when they were finished. They put auto antifreeze in the toilet and sink in the outside building which is toxic to animal, humans etc. instead of pumping the water out. They turned the hot water heater up too high and the tank quit working and flooded the basement. They cleaned out the clog in the toilet and left a mess behind. They seemed to be irritated that they had to make these calls. I now call another plumber and take the money I paid for the service out of my rent. I hate to give anyone a bad review but these guys were terrible each time they came out.

In the last three years, we have had to redo pretty much every single thing they did. In the kitchen, immediately after the work was completed, all three sinks leaked and had to be repaired. In the half bath, the toilet was installed leaning to one side so had to be taken out and replaced. In the master bath, neither pop-up drain stopper worked. Also in the master bath, the water shut-off for the toilet was installed so close to the floor that it cannot be turned. Just last month, we discovered that the flexible pan under the tile in the shower had a slit running down one side, after the shower leaked into the living room below. That repair alone cost more than $5000. Update: I am submitting a second report about this plumber because my earlier one was in response to the bathroom work and we have now discovered major problems in the kitchen. I think it is also important for people to understand that even though the name of the company says c/o Don Wheatley, we were told that Don Wheatley (who was a very good plumber) has retired. We remodeled our kitchen 4 years ago. This summer the copper pipe that supplies water to the refrigerator sprung a leak, damaging all of the hardwood floor in the kitchen. I have no evidence that the leak was caused by the work that the plumber had done four years earlier but... when we removed the flooring, we discovered that the water connection to the dishwasher had been installed improperly and has been slowly leaking probably since the installation. The sub-floor under the dishwasher and surrounding cabinets was soaking wet, rotten and moldy. We have had to remove the cabinets, counter top and dishwasher, dry the wall out and replace the sub-flooring. Given the problems that we have had with the work done by Bill Brown Plumbing, I cannot imagine how they are still in service. I would not use them if they were the last plumbing company in Memphis!

They were great. I have called them on other situations where they have worked well. They are quite expensive and I know other plumbers who charge reasonably.

He gave me an estimate over the phone and arrived early, but called before he came. The final cost was within a few dollars of his estimate. I thought he did a good job.

They were a little expensive. They had 2 workers come out when I think they only needed one. I think that I was overcharged. Other than that I was very pleased with their work.

I have been using Don Wheatley for quite a while now, and I have always been rather pleased. I feel that he also has some pretty standard prices, and I am glad for that. This was probably one of the smallest and most easiest jobs he has ever done for me, but, he still was good at it. I plan to continue using him for all of my plumbing needs. I would probably never even think of calling anyone else ever.
