He attempted to charge us for tools such as wrenches, tile trowel, caulk gun, etc and personal items such as knee pads and AA batteries. He tried to charge us for two large bags of grout to grout a 3" section of base board that was missed by the tile guy. We refused to pay for dozens of items. He even charged us for the paper our proposal was printed on. Overall the work was average, but the cost was overblown. His plumber charged us $50 for a toilet flusher handle .... Exact same product is for sale at Lowe's for $15. Tons of hidden fees. "Cost plus X%" ... Basically he stopped short of charging us for a Ford F150 to get to the job. Big sales pitch up front but felt like i was bothering him with my $50,000+ job once we signed the contract.

After several "patch" jobs with other companies, Barnett replace the flat roof over my front porch, properly sealing the roof and covering it with copper. It has not leaked since and looks great.

They came with two men to do the work and they wasted no time with small talk. They were not rude, just focused. This turned out to be a good thing because the room was finished in a single day. That is relatively fast considering they had to remove the old drywall. The finished product is smooth, level, and was very easy to paint. We made a good choice in hiring this company.
