I am in the process of moving out and I have no air conditioning. I contacted the management company and they stated it was not in my lease that they provide me with air conditioning. They came out yesterday and found that the compressor in the unit was bad and informed me that it would be 10-14 days to get the new condensor in. I will have moved out by then. In the south it is extremely humid and the temperatures are supposed to be in the 90's this week. I am asthmatic, I have a disabled adult child in my home as well as a dog. I was told that they would not bring a portable air conditioning unit because of the price. They did offer me one window are conditioner, however that will not cool the entire home. It seems they are only concerned with cost and not the welfare of the tenants.
