I was more than pleased with Automatic, Steve Ray, and all of the workers that installed the water heaters. Their customer service is exemplary! Absolutely pleased and no complaints!

It went very well. They were very responsive. They were here on time; didn?t come too early or late, they came right on time. They had the best price of several contractors that I contacted. They did the work very professionally and quickly. They did have to come back out at one point to take care of a problem. It wasn?t a problem they caused, it was just the way things went with the drainage.

It went quickly.  I was surprised to be able to get a serviceman over that day when I had called that morning.  But they had one available.  And he was in and out in about 30 minutes.  Even cleaned the outside unit.
I've used Automatic for years.  They do radiated heat boilers.  Not everyone in town will work on them.

Chris, the company's rep had a very straight-forward, honest and no-pressure approach when providing a bid. He patiently and clearly answered all questions. His bid was the best of three for similar equipment, and I had great confidence in him and the company after getting to know him.
Because installation took place during the and quot;offand quot; season for an HVAC company, Automatic sent an extra large crew and had the complete job done well before the end of the day, which was very convenient. The work appeared to be top quality, and the techs kept me informed of progress and issues. Chris was on-site quite often during the installation to make sure we were satisfied with everything. The installers took great care with cleanliness and preventing damage while moving heavy components through the house.
Automatic is a long-time family-owned business in Memphis, and they clearly care about their customers in the long-term. This is quite a contrast with some of the of the other HVAC businesses I know of.

Ask for Chris as you start the process

On one of the hottest days of the year, our air condition stopped cooling properly. We called Automatic, and they said they could come out the next day. They called first to confirm they would be there shortly, then arrived on time. The technician was polite and professional. He immediately detected the problem, got the part, and performed the repair. He was done in about an hour. We could not have been more pleased.

They showed up on time and covered all the floor and stairs for install. Finished same day and were very professional.

They told me I had a bad rod in the motor. They put the rod in and had it fixed within 45 minutes and it's been working ever since. They were very polite and timely. I was very pleased with their work. I had another company out 3 times and they couldn't fix it. They were able to get out the same day I called.

I think they are wonderful and they have done a lot of work for me during this past summer and fall. I am in real estate. They respond quickly and seem to know what they are doing. They are reasonable, helpful and honest. They are reliable and I will use them again in the future.

We contacted this vendor because after our home warranty contractor performed a ten point inspection in April the air conditioner was not cooling as well as last year. We did not renew the home warranty policy so we did not contact them to repair. American Heating and Air quickly determined that the previous technician must have added too much R-22 coolant. He removed 6 pounds of coolant and almost immediately the unit started to cool the house to the same temperature as set on the thermostat.

I always have liked them. We have used their service for over 50 years. They are reliable and very nice. They were here when they say they would be. Their work is always good. I could not give a better recommendation.

We had a few quotes and found this company to be one of the best we received. We were so pleased with the respect that everyone showed us. If we had a question, they had an answer. Everyone was very friendly. They showed up about a good half hour before they were supposed to be here. They went right to work. They had the new coil installed very quickly. They made sure everything worked properly. We have had no problems with the new system.

We have been using this company for over forty years now and would not continue to use them if we were not completely satisfied with them. I have come to know the staff pretty well and they always send someone over quickly to take care of our problem. I do not wish to disclose the price that we paid for the job.
