"Thank you [Member Name Removed]! We appreciate your business and the positive reviews! You two are the type of customers that make our jobs so much more rewarding and happy to be here to help. See you next time! ;-)"
"1)This car was actually in July 14, 2016, not in November, and it is interesting that they waited until January of 2017 to post this review on Angie's List. 2)When the customer left, we noted on the repair ticket (which was signed by the customer; they also took a copy with them), 4 recommendations of repairs needed, which they declined. 3)We only charged half of our standard inspection cost, and noted on the ticket that we would be willing to put it towards the repairs needed if they chose to go forward with our recommendations. We also gave the customer their 10% labor discount on the half hour inspection/check to diagnose, which is a menu item and is typically not discounted. 4)The customer requested we inspect the steering and suspension system, that is why they brought it in, and that is exactly what we did. We informed the customer of the needed repairs, with pricing, listed it clearly on the ticket, and noted some other maintenance/safety items we observed while it was in. The customer declined repairwork, signed the ticket with the noted repair needs, and until this review was posted, did not contact us again or let us know of any dissatisfaction. We feel this review is inaccurate and unwarranted. It is also untimely (again, the car was in on July 14, 2016) . Thank you."
"No repairs were performed, only diagnosis and inspection. Customer declined repairs."
"After reviewing this vehicle's history from its one and only visit to our shop in August of 2013 (10 months prior to this post), we can confirm that we did in fact replace a battery and a headlamp bulb. In addition, we replaced a hood release cable, and put four new tires on this vehicle, after the car was towed in to our shop for repair. We also noted in our work order that the customer stated that the car had been sitting for 4 months prior to being brought in for repair. There were no complaints regarding engine performance or anything related to the revving referred to in this customer's review. However, we did note on the ticket*(after informing the customer) that additional repairs were needed to the vehicle at the time it left our shop, which we would have been happy to do, had the customer decided to bring it back. We always inform the customer of any additional repairs a vehicle needs, as well as to note in on the ticket, with the understanding that a customer is not always prepared to do every recommended repair at the time they bring the car in, and sometimes they just may want to think about whether or not it is worth the repair, or perhaps plan to do the repairs, in order of priority, over an extended period of time, as their budget allows. In this particular case, we are sorry that the customer did not contact us or bring the car back if they were not satisfied with the quality of work we did. We never want a customer to feel like our work is anything less than the best, and we consistently seek to provide honest, quality work. Until this post, we had no idea the customer was anything less than satisfied, and we are sorry we did not get the opportunity to rectify the situation in a timely manner. One last note worth mentioning is that anytime a customer is unable to recall exactly what work has been done on a vehicle and would like to have us look it up and provide that information, we are happy to do so. In this case, perhaps reviewing the ticket, what work was completed exactly, along with the noted recommendations with the customer could have opened up the lines of communication to help resolve this issue, whether it was closer to the time the customer came in, or today, 10 months after our last contact with the customer. Either way, we regret not having the opportunity to remedy any dissatisfaction and continue to strive to provide a quality and overall positive experience with anyone and everyone with whom we do business."
