901 Locksmith

I thought that this was a good legit company but they are con men. My tenant just so happened to try a different key to their door on accident and found out that any key will open the lock. I called them about this issue and they told me they would talk to the manager and call back. Of course they never did, then when I reached out again they said that they would charge me to come out and fix their mistake. How can you charge me when my tenant has been living in a house that could be opened by anyone for several months? Then he finally said that they would come out and fix their mistake “if” they are the ones who did the work and to send him a picture. I knew then that he never intended to take accountability. I sent the picture and never heard back. I called a different locksmith, I won’t leave their name here because I don’t want you to mistake this review for an ad, and they said that 901 locksmith is known for doing bad work, there are 7 pins inside the lock, but 901 locksmith consistently only uses 2 which makes their job easier to rekey the locks but makes the lock unsafe and easy to enter. They also told me that they would give me a two year warranty, unlike 901 locksmith who wants me to pay them for their mistakes. With this new information I suggest anyone who uses them to check other keys in their locks, it just might be you next with an unsafe house.

HORRIBLE!!! PATHETIC!!! I PROMISE I will NEVER use 901-LockSmith ever again!!! Immediately after this incident occurred yesterday evening over into last night, I called the company (901 Locksmith) to report this SERIOUS complaint, but no one picked up the phone, even when hours of operation were suppose to be until 11pm!!!! I kept calling after 8pm!!! No way to leave a message to report this complaint!!! I had no choice but to come here to report them. I even drove there this morning wasting gas & had the evidence to show, but the building looks like a "ghost town"/locked up. It was closed , dark, & there was no one to open the door at 9am. I only kept the business card to this PATHETIC company from about 2 1/2 years ago, assuming I was going to get good service yesterday that I had about 2 1/2 years ago, BUT DID NOT. Please know that I am too busy to literally waste time to compose a negative review, but this is necessary. People must know & to beware, seriously. I have text messsages & a camera system to prove everything!!! I communicated with who I thought was the same guy from last time because he answered when I called the same number he gave me on that card 2 1/2 years ago. He stated he still worked for this company. He had me wait all day into the evening, only to have some stranger arrive to my home stating that he was going to install my locks, moments before him stating HE, himself, was going to be there in 10 minutes & not someone else. I guess he forgot that I still remembered what he looked like, but when a totally different guy arrived, I was trying to figure out why. I do not like strangers arriving at my home, especially when having to deal with security aspects of my home. He NEVER contacted me to let me know he was not going to be the one to arrive in 10 minutes. I tried calling him several times when the guy he claimed to have called to place my locks arrived at my home, but my call was forwarded several times back-to-back with no option to leave a voicemail. The guy who arrived saw my obvious frustration when the other guy didn't care to pick up his phone. I stated right then I was canceling & calling another company. Although he apologized about the whole ordeal, something was still very strange about this guy & the whole ordeal. I asked did he know the quote I received from the other guy & he replied, "No, he didn't tell me. He just said you were getting locks changed that will be $135 or $140.00." The guy who arrived quoted an even higher price the pathetic initial guy & I agreed upon. I started to walk away back up my driveway out of disbelief & anger & he started calling me back, trying to negotiate. He literally begged me at the curb to install my new locks I purchased myself. THE ONLY reason I said yes is because I needed the added security for my family & he was mainly going to be on the outside of my home. I was also going to be there to supervise because my trust with 901 Locksmith was gone 100%. And what ever happened to name tags????? No name tag worn. I do remember what he said his name was. (Just so you know, upon the initial conversation with the guy who was suppose to come, I knew that the prices he quoted me were too high, but when I made efforts to not get the work done before confirming a time because of his high price, he hassled me & asked what could I pay instead. He strongly encouraged me to keep the appointment he & I were trying to agree upon.) Keep in mind that the guy I'd been communicating with stated he was only 10 minutes away. I guy who arrived was late. What made it horribly worse is the uninterested behavior of this company after they have taken the money & left. He stated frantically he had to leave when I thought he was done and I told him to wait so that I could make sure my locks were working for me. One of my preexisting locks don't work now because of how he placed the new lock. He KNEW what he did before I could finish checking it. I ended up paying $100.00, but still felt a manager or someone should have been available, but obviously did not & still don't give a d%*!@!! I have no idea how this company received great reviews when I have on camera & text messages of horrible, horrible service I received. IF I COULD RATE 901-LOCKSMITH a thousand NEGATIVE 0s', I promise I WOULD!!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! GO ELSEWHERE!

The locksmith worked with me to coordinate a good time to meet. Once they were able to see the problem, they recommended simply re-keying all 3 locks instead of replacing them, saving me $$ and hassle. Very thorough, high quality work and even took the time to explain how the locks worked and how re-keying them could be done. Very polite and professional.

I called around 9:00 am on a Monday and the work was finished before noon. When I called they asked me to text pictures of the lock to be replaced. I did so promptly, and they gave me a quote within 10 minutes. The locksmith showed up within an hour and had the replacement lock with him. He did the re-key on site and was done within an hour.

I called 901 Locks and was very happy with the service provided. They very promptly sent a technician to replace the lock. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable and changed the lock in a jiffy!

Things went very well. I had taken off work to get our rental property re-keyed and had set an appointment with another locksmith. After that locksmith didn't show, I called 901 Locksmith and they came out the same hour. The guy was very meticulous and organized. He re-keyed the two apartments and made sure that I had plenty of keys for each one. There had been a long-standing problem with the deadbolt lock in the common entry, in that it didn't line up well and was very difficult to operate. He pointed out the problem to me and worked diligently to realign the lock and improve its operation. The price was fair and the next time I needed a locksmith, I called them and got the same prompt service second time around!

We locked ourself out of a bedroom. The door has a key lock (not a normal bedroom knob). 901 was at her house within 10 minutes and door was open within 20. They also made her 2 spare keys. I used the 10% off coupon.

Locked my keys in my car. Wasn't looking forward to this as I've been ripped off by locksmiths before. Quote one price and charges another when job is done. Called and they sent out Musa who was the most professional, and efficient locksmith I've dealt with. He was to the point and got the job done with no damage to my car. Overall, I wonderful person to deal with. Ask for Musa if you need assistance in back in wherever you're locked out of.
