Excellent!!  They did the best job!!

Crew of about six men arrived as promised with large trucks designed for the needed service. They were polite, efficient and within approximately 4 hours had taken down the trees and removed all debris, which even included raking scattered leaves from the yard. I expected to pay when they finished and had a check ready but nobody came to the door for it. A bill arrived in the mail several days later and I was further impressed to get a return envelope bearing a postage stamp--an unusual courtesy these days!

Very poorly. Showed up without notice around 11:45 Monday morning. (normally would have been no one there at that time of day)
Unloaded one piece of equipment and stood around waiting on someone. I left and upon my return they had actually started trimming but all were standing around watching the foreman demo a saw which didn't work.
At 3.30, they started loading up and were gone before 4pm stating they would be back first thing in the morning. After waiting most of the morning to find out they had not planned on returning that day, but the next one. In the meantime they managed to drop the top out of one tree through my shurbs across my fence and onto my neighbors storage building.
They showed back up Wed. and finished taking down the trees and shredding them. They did repair the fence, but ignored the damage to my shurbs and the neighbors shed. They cut ruts in the yard several inches deep with the claw on tracks they used to load the shredder in numerous places.
If you want to pay a premium price for terrible service and a torn up yard (their experience with heavy machinery would indicate they should have known the damage it would cause in a yard ) then Dement should be your choice.
We have had about 20 trees removed from the yard over the last 30 years by several different tree services and this is by far the worst experience to date.

So far we have gone through 34 bags of dirt filling the ruts caused by that claw on treads.

I needed an expert to come and give me an opinion on my maple tree. My tree appeared to me as if it was dying a slow death, and I desperately wanted to save it, as it is the only tree left in my yard, due to a tornado a few years ago. There was/is a lot of dead branches within my tree and I just wasn't sure what course of action that I needed to take. Dement Tree Services sent an arborist to my home to look at my tree. He immediately knew what the problem was with the tree and gave me 2 options; either cut down the tree or to give it a treatment. He recommended that I try the treatment first, as maples usually responded very well to this. I opted to try the treatment. He treated the maple with what looked like big syringes stuck into the tree itself, all around the trunk of the tree and left them overnight, or until the tree absorbed the medicine from the syringes.



I did have a considerable amount of leaf loss after the treatment but none in the past month or so. The Dement arborist said that he would check back with me in the spring so that we could see how the tree was doing and discuss the next course of action. He felt very positive about the treatment and said not to cut any dead out of the tree until we spoke in the spring of the year.

They came out and looked at the tree and called me with a price. I told therm to go ahead and do the work. This was right after a storm in my area and there were a lot of tree work being done. They told me that it would be about 10 days before they could do the work. I said that would be ok.
The tree was on the other side of my wood fence and there were a couple of big limbs that had fallen. I asked him to pick up those limbs too.They did the work in a timely manner. This was a very dangerous tree because it was big and rotted. After they had done the work and I came home to look at it I was very pleased except that they had forgotten to get the limbs on the other side of the fence. The guys doing the work missed them. Honest mistake. I called and talked to Mrs. Garey and told her about the problem. She was a very nice lady. Within and hour the supervisor called me and assured me that they would come back. Next day it was done. It looked like a tree (or dead limbs) were never there.

They were excellent. They were on time and they trimmed up our fifteen to twenty trees in our yard. They did not leave any mess at all. There was one thing they were supposed to do and they came the next day and took care of it. They were very responsive and they did excellent work. They were very professional.

I called Dement Tree Service and got a prompt return to my call. A time was set up for an estimate, which was performed exactly as scheduled. Once the estimate was received (same day), signed, and returned, the work was scheduled (within the week). I was called the day of service to confirm access to property. The bradford pear was trimmed but the stump grinder was not available same day so that work was scheduled for 3 days later. I went ahead and paid for the full service. They returned as scheduled and finished the work as promised. They did an excellent cleanup job.

I've just used them once. They were quick about getting me a detailed quote. I knew exactly what they were going to do and what they weren't going to do. They followed their quote and completed the job as they said they were going to. I was satisfied with their services.
