Charlie is fantastic to work with! Very professional, punctual, and polite. He was easy to reach, and stayed in contact with me over a very busy multi-week schedule for both him and me (holidays) to get the work day confirmed and then the work completed. Great!

Our house had a hideous staircase that Charlie turned into a showpiece. The staircase started out as a builder special, with dreary carpet, a mismatched and cheap-looking handrail, and a balcony rail that had become wobbly with age. Charlie replaced all the treads with oak and the risers with painted boards. He also installed a new oak handrail and a beautfiul, sturdy balcony rail. All of the woodworking is excellent, as I expected. More surprising was the quality of the finish. Charlie pre-finished all of the wood with paint or polyurethane and repainted our existing risers, sanding and smoothing out the latter in the process. He then applied a final coat after installation to make sure everything was pristine and smooth as glass. All business went flawlessly. Charlie showed up for the estimate on time, told us when he would be able to get to our job, and showed up to do the work exactly as promised. He was always cheerful and focused on customer satisfaction.
Another thing I want to call Charlie out on is his pragmatism/cost-effectiveness. Despite the fact that our staircase was structurally sound, another carpenter had proposed ripping the whole thing out and rebuilding it from scratch, at much higher cost. Charlie was able to do a facelift while preserving the bones underneath, saving us a lot of money while delivering at least as good a result.
Charlie is great, I recommend him highly.

Charlie came by to give a quote and his availability. He ordered the mouldings and handrails which were delivered to my home.
When I stained them, Charlie was available within a few weeks (per his original estimate of availability).
He and his associate showed up, ready for work, and finished the job in two days.
Inside corners were excellently coped, outside corners excellently mitered.  There were some areas in the house that required very precise fitting to existing mouldings, which he did very well.
I've had experience with other trim carpenters who did not have very good skills and/or hid problems they encountered.  Trim Masters was open about everything.
Very pleased and would certainly use again.

Excellent!!!  Called Charlie, came out gave a price estimate and date.  It was all done within the time frame discussed and on budget.

The entire job went great from beginning to end. Charlie gave me an estimate, told me when he could do the work, called when he had  the materials, came over and did the job. Charlie and Brian are very good at their job. . Even though the job required wood to be removed, replaced and repainted, there was no mess from beginning to end. Charlie and Brian were extremely  neat.  You cannot tell that the window sill or the baseboards have been replaced.  They look just like the originals and the paint matches exactly. I am so happy.

Working with Trim Masters was a great experience.  They returned calls promptly, showed up when promised, and did excellent work for a very reasonable price.  Would definitely use them again and refer them to friends.

They removed the old staircase, ripping up the carpet and taking out the old stair treads.  Then they started assembling the parts of the stairs.  First adding the skirt boards, then one by one adding each stair treads.  This process took 3 days.  The finished product is truly amazing and we are very pleased.  I look forward to using them in many other projects in the near future.

The work went perfectly, they arrived on time with materials and equipment, started at the top floor of the house and worked toward the garage, taking home the door that needed carpentry work. They were efficient and completed the job is less days than estimated, therefore saving us money.

Mr. Zimmer came out to give us an estimate on installing some custom handrails in our home. He was able to schedule the job in a timely manner. He was professional, neat and courteous. The estimate was accurate and he did a beautiful job. I would recommend him and use him in the future.

Charlie measured the rooms and gave us an estimate. He started the job within a week and finished it in 1 1/2 days. He and his did excellent work. They came on time and they were neat!

The shelves are level and very secure. Mr.Zimmer and Brandon were very careful in protecting our wood floors with a drop cloth and they did an excellent job cleaning up when they were done. They were very professional and nice. We would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future if we needed more trim work or carpentry.
