Fantastic job working with the slate. He was also very helpful with other projects I had in the house.

When he came out, I had warned him that there was a low spot on the porch. They said it would not be a problem and they would take care of it. When I washed the tile down, I noticed the low spot was still there. I called him back and he said he needed to check his schedule and then he would come back and correct the problem. Nothing happened. I have made repeated attempts to contact him, but he does not answer or return my call. I also asked for the senior discount which is advertised on his info on Angie's List info. He said no and I did not get the senior discount.

The job took about 2 weeks. We supplied the all of the tile. Tim supplied all of the other materials necessary to do the job. Tim and his associate, Will, were very conscientious and meticulous in their work. They were very professional, respectful and personable. We felt very comfortable having them in our home. They were prompt and showed up when they said they would. They had a plan that they wanted to stick to, but we were under time constraints to get the job done so that we could have contractors come in to do their part, and we could move in at the end of the month. Unfortunately, the contractors began work prior to Tim and his crew finishing which caused some problems with the entire project. Because the tiles were so newly installed, there were concerns that the contractors could damage the tiles. Luckily, this was not the case. We are very pleased with they work that they did. We still need to have our fireplace fronts tiled and plan on calling Tim again to do this work.

The job went smoothly. Tim told me to pick out the correct type and size of tile. He also turned me onto another tile store that had some good prices. While at the tile store I called him with some questions about some extras that a salesperson was trying to get me to buy. He told me to only get the tile. The final cost was about $100 more than the estimate because I had him get the quick-set and grout.

The company was responsive and professional. Tim helped us choose the correct materials and advised us on install technique. The company was easy to deal with and they are very trustworthy. We left on a 10 day trip to Canada and Tim had full access to the house and completed the entire job while we were away. We came home to beautiful new tile. I would happily hire Tim and his company again.

I am very pleased with the work that he did. He was polite and punctual. He knew right what to do and how to do it. He kept things tidy while he was working and he made sure the work area when he was finished. I would recommend hiring him.

Tim Garland showed up promptly as scheduled to give me the estimate. He was clearly knowledgeable about the extra steps needed to install heavy tile in a mobile home. I had to wait several weeks for the job to be scheduled/completed but I saw that as a good thing (a company that has customers lined up is usually a good sign). I did get another estimate from another company but it was quite a bit higher than the one from Tim. The quality of the work is very good and I am pleased with everything.

Job 1: I called them & he conducted himself in a refreshingly pleasant & professional manner. He returned every call promptly, had no memory lapses, showed on time & charged us what was stated. Job 2: Tim gives you a start time & he ll be there on time & is eager to get to work. Their work is fabulous, as he has replaced all tile in our home now. We have 1 rm of carpet & he made a fantastic recommendation of an installer to us. Tim & Will are extremely trustworthy, you can feel free leaving your home & know all will be well. I have been through many home renovations recently & I have to tell you they are by far is #1 on our list of all the various trades I've worked with. I very highly recommend them. We feel like we have gained a friend, who just happens to be an excellent tile professional!

He was a gentleman, and was clean and polite. His work was good and price was fair. He was a very hard worker and I would use him again.

Tim Garland and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They were on time, very responsive to requests, knowledgeable and did a great job. Their pricing was very competitive. I would heartily recommend them, and I would certainly use them again. One example: In the middle of the job, when the house was in complete disarray while the tile was being installed (took about 6 days), our children and grandchildren called to say they were coming for a visit for a few days. Tim and his crewed worked in a fashion so our 4 guests had places to sleep and hang out. They said don't tell them not to come, they will make it so that laying of the tile will not interfere with their visit.
