He came the same day and it took less than 20 minutes to find the problem (bad control panel). He left to get the part and came back with within 2 hours. He put the new part in and now the oven heats up. He was very knowledgeable, quick and price was reasonable.

Arrived as scheduled, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came two days later with the part and fixed the problem. Dishwasher works fine now. Very professional.

He fixed it with parts he had but it quickly broke again. The second time he ordered the correct parts and did not charge for the labor. My only complaint was that he should have ordered the parts the first time.

David was very easy to work with from scheduling the appointment to his attention to detail while doing the repairs.  He was prompt on his arrival, focused on resolving the issue quickly and professional in his work.  Upon arriving he spent a few minutes gathering pertinent details on the issue and had the problem diagnosed within 10 or 15 minutes.  He has a depth of experience and repaired the problem and was gone within 30 to 45 minutes.  He has a flat rate fee for his service calls regardless of whether he is there for 15 mins or 3 hours.  This is very valuable and an indication of his confidence in quickly diagnosing and resolving issues.  I  will absolutely use him for any future needs with regard to kitchen/small appliance repair.

Service provider arrived when stated and serviced our washer which was making some noise. pointed out some possible causes such as unbalanced loads and said that everything appeared to be in order. he did some more checks and showed me what to check for in the future before calling to save some money next time!!

I didn't want to invest a a new refridgerator since I am trying to sell my house and was hoping the "fix" would not take long and would not be too expensive. He met both criteria. I would definitely use him again.

I called him and he came out on the same day. He had the parts with him and he just came right over. I didn't know whether I had to throw the refrigerator away but he fixed it and its running fine. I've used him in the past for washing machines and other things. He has general knowledge of most appliances.

Our Maytag dishwasher started making a loud grinding noise when actually washing the dishes. The provider arrived on time and immediately identified the problem as hard material in the filter. He fixed it quickly and even provided tips on a few minor parts I could order and replace myself. Very professional and easy to work with.

Amazing. I called at 3, here was here at 5 and gone at 5:30. Very friendly, enjoyed talking with him.

The work performed went well, I thought they were a little pricey but the company was fine to work with and the repair was satisfactory.

We called him and told him what our problem was and he figured out and ordered the parts and came out as soon as he received the parts and put them on . He was very polite, and neat with his work. We were so excited to have our frig. fixed since we had lived so long making do, because we had been given such a large price before finding Mr.Thompson . We didn't think we would be able to afford to have it fixed. We would definitely use his service again.

He was timely. I didn't like that he quoted one price and then when he finished the job he quoted a different price which was a lot more.

I made the phone call around nine. He told me he had an opening around four, which was fine with me. He contacted me around noon and asked if it would be possible to stop by in about fifteen min due in part of the route he was taking. I was thrilled and said yes. He showed up and proceeded to show him the dryer and explained my situation. He immediately had a few remedies but first troubleshot the problem to verify the situation. He spotted the problem,replaced the part, found what caused it and showed me. He was quick, neat and to the point. His tools were organized and the parts he dismantled were neat and orderly. It took about a half hour total to fix my problem and i was happy. Then only complaint was that i didn't keep the reciept as he does warranty work.

He arrived in a little over an hour. My wife turned the unit off and back on while we were waiting and it started working. Not wanting to chance that it was OK we had him check the refrigerator out any way. The service tech said everything looked good. He was thorough, curtious and professional. Will use him in future .......

I was amazed at the speed with which this repair was accomplished. I called at 9:47 a.m., he was at my house by 10:20, and the job was done by 10:45. He is a very pleasant man who knows what he is doing, and I like that he is local. Would I use his services again? Absolutely!

Showed my husband how to repair it if it ever happens again.
Charges a flat rate, no matter how long it takes to repair.
I kept his number, would use again.

My refrigerator had stopped working (the compressor was not coming on), so I needed something done ASAP. He came out same day, tried replacing the relay switch, but this did not solve the problem. So he put the original relay switch back on, the fridge started working again (temporarily), but he concluded that the compressor was bad and advised it would probably not be worth putting a new compressor into the 12 year old fridge. Called me within a half hour with the total cost of a new compressor plus labor, and again advised it would be better to buy a new fridge. Very knowledgeable, honest, and professional.

Am so happy I found Thompson Appliance Service through Angie's List! Dave Thompson arrived at 7:30 as promised, determined the dryer was working fine, the exhaust hose was too small (self installed) causing the safety switch to engage. He doesn't do that kind of repair but ran to Home Depot to get a new 4 inch (necessary) exhaust hose, took out the smaller line and ran the new one through the wall! He stayed long enough to make sure the dryer was heating properly and the clothes were drying. What a guy!

We called Dave at 1:00 PM and explained the problem to him and he set an appointment for 4:00 PM that same day. He was a little late, but called to let us know when he would arrive. He quickly evaluated the situation and determined the cause was just from leaving the door open too long in cleaning. He quickly checked the refrigerator and freezer doors and determined no maintenance was needed. He did not charge us for the maintenance calle, but my wife insisted on giving him some gas money.

My washer decided spinning was optional. Found Thompson Appliance on Angie's List and called for an appointment. Mr. Thompson arrived at 7:30 am as promised the following morning! He replaced the defective part and shoed me a second part soon to fail - told me let me replace that now - it's only an extra $2.00 part and I've got the machine opened up. He even cleaned up a spot of grease tht got on the floor! Very nice man who knows his stuff! I will recommend him in the future and will use his services if needed.
