Auto Service
After replacing the motor, Dewaine called to say the motor ran for approximately 25 minutes and then went to knocking. Had the car and the old motor towed off his lot. Ford Certified technician scoped the motor with a camera and found the intake was not cleaned out properly. Pieces from the first motor were thrown into the new rebuilt motor. Caused damage to the head and the 4th piston. 6 bolts missing out of the motor. Fan belt cover missing. Dip stick holder missing. Bad install according to the Ford Certified Mechanic.
