We recently relocated to Maryville and my daughter came home from college for summer break. Not knowing any decent repair
shops in the area, I called a neighbor of mine who is part owner of an independent automobile dealership in Maryville. He said
he has always had great success with the Midas shop just down from his dealership and to ask for Chris Ross.

A couple of years ago, my daughter's a/c stopped blowing cold air, so I simply recharged her system with freon a couple of times until it was no longer effective. Traditionally, this meant the evaporator core, located inside the vehicle and under the dash,
was leaking and over time, the more you charged the system, the faster it leaked out. While price shopping this repair, we received estimates ranging from $800 to $1500. Typically, this is a 2 day repair and involves removing the entire dash to replace the part.
Although I and quot;knewand quot; my daughter needed this repair, Chris advised he would evacuate/recharge her a/c system and check to verify
the evaporator core was in fact leaking.
As it turned out, after Chris recharged the system, there was nothing wrong with her a/c system and determined the system most likely had air in it, due to me trying to save a little $$$ by buying the cans of freon at a local parts store and charging the system myself.
Bottom line...we were prepared to pay (and signed the estimate) for about $800 but walked out with a bill for only $99.00.
Honesty and Integrity are two words that describe Chris Ross, Bruce (the owner) and the staff at Midas!

They are really quick and efficient. They got the parts right away. They are little high in price. I trust them in what they do. I would use them in the future.
