I've never written a negative review of anyone before, but this was too important. Dan Longo left us high and dry at the end of a bathroom remodel. He missed that our whirpool tub has a heater and didn't wire for it correctly. I didn't realize this until after he was paid, the construction/sheetrock/finishing was done. His solution was to charge us more and cut into the newly finished wall. When I pushed back and asked if he intended to cover the sheetrock repair, he said he was closing my file and not coming back. I've never had someone just walk off a job like that, knowingly leaving me in a lurch. When the going gets tough, Dan gets going -- in the other direction. Don't hire him.

Work went very well. Mr. Longo was knowledgeable, very smart (and some people are knowledgeable without being smart!!), prompt, extremely professional, courteous, respectful of our home and our schedules. Work was meticulous, neat and clean. Mr. Longo has a lot of pride in his workmanship. He even gave me some pointers when I told him I was contemplating doing the job myself. This was money well spent.

Called Longo Electric with a service box partially working. Dan broke into his schedule to help. He considered it an emergency as we didn't have heat.  He was on site in an hour. He was done in three hours.
My HVAC systems were off line. Half my house circuits were offline. Part of my house circuits were on low voltage. He was working on MLK holiday thankfully. He found the problem with my 35 year old main breaker. Located a supply house with the part (open on the holiday) and replaced the part. He coordinated his work with the local utility's holiday service person. He also helped me trouble shoot a circuit that wasn't online for another reason. Very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. He was careful not to track dirt in the house and pickup as he left.

Dan Longo quoted the job and performed the work for the quoted price on the day agreed. The work was performed well and very tidily, no mess was left. The installation looked good as well as working well.

He showed up as expected and was very detailed in his troubleshooting and repair. An exceptional work at a low cost. I would definately recommend Mr. Longo for any job!

I could not have asked for a better job! Dan and his associate, Bill, did THE MOST AWESOME JOB taking our old front desk apart (which was not your typical reception desk) - this thing was a custom built monster that including stone, granite, wood and a lot of nuts and bolts. Within an hour they had the desk apart, all pieces intact, and relocated all the pieces to our shop area, setting all the pieces neatly together. They did not damage or break anything and were very careful to make sure they took their time and protected our tile floors and walls.
The installation of the new desk was perfect. These guys do not cut corners and take every opportunity to do each part of the job carefully, accurately, and they are extremely courteous and professional. After the desk was installed, Dan did his electrical magic and installed new outlets to accommodate the new desk.
They really did go above an beyond - after the electrical was in and the desk installed, Dan made sure everything was working properly, they leveled the desk, cleaned it, and Dan was even on his hands and knees cleaning the tile floor where the old one had left marks. I was truly impressed. They cleaned up the work site perfectly. He also fixed up all the cables and wires underneath the desk making sure they were not hanging and tangled on the floor; he even provided us some cable/wire organizers.
I would ABSOLUTELY call on Longo Electric again in the future.

I was very pleased. Dan was on time, courteous and professional. It was clear that his standards were high and that work would meet code. I independently verified his license was current. He took efforts to keep our home clean. He / his assistant had to spend a bit of time navigating our attic to run wiring, which is not finished and difficult to get around in (especially in summer heat). I'd thought the quote was on the high side, but in the end was very satisfied with the quality of work and timeliness of the job. In this case, I got what I paid for. It's been a few months since the remodeling project finished and we've had zero issues with the electrical work.

Longo came and reviewed the problems, gave an estimated quote. On agreed date Longo returned and corrected all the issues for the quoted price. Service was quick, neat and clean. Longo did his best to be inobtrusive while working in the house and was very particular not to make a mess. Longo made sure all work debris was cleared up beautifully, even to the extent of blowing off the driveway.

They are the best I've ever used ! They were prompt, showed up with booties on, and put drop cloths down. They were efficient and respectful of my home. The service was excellent.

Dan was very responsive and attentive to details and securing answers to our questions, even questions related to the TVA contract were answered in writing to our satisfaction. Both systems are functioning without a hitch. Everything has gone as promised and scheduled. We highly recommend Longo Electric LLC.
