About us

My name is Amy Wendling, and I have been in the business of caring for pets for 23 years. I have managed large kennels for show dogs, traveled the show dog circuits, handling dogs for others and myself. Our show kennel boasts over 30 American champions. Additionally, I have had many years experience working with, and grooming show horses. I also hold certifications in equine massage and reiki. For many years i searched for a for a situation in which i could blend my love for animals with my decades of experience with dogs. Finding Linsmoor Boarding and Grooming provided the solution. I believe our guests deserve top-notch care without sacrificing personal attention. I believe that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. We are personally committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Linsmoor continues to grow steadily since November of 2009, when we took over. We have grown the existing business enormously and daily we continue to experience even more growth and satisfaction. Both dogs were hesitant to go in a new place without us. But they were treated special and enjoyed their stay!

I took a unopened bag of dog food when I dropped them off and it was barely touched. I told the gentleman that my female had food allergies and needed that particular food, she came back with allergic reaction (blisters on her chin). My male came back with LARGE sores on both elbows which I am going to have to take him to the vet now. Both dogs had diarrhea as well from the different dog food.

Their very willing to work with you on pick up's, their flexible.

She did a wonderful job, I just feel like the animals are well taken care of, they care about animals.

I have boarded my dog numerous times at Linsmoor Kennel. The length of time has ranged from 2 nights to 8 nights. My dog has always received the best of care from Amy and I know he will be well supervised at all times. Each dog has his own enclosure so I don't have to worry about another dog harming my little dog which was a concern at some other kennels. At some places I have used, the dogs are turned out into an enclosure with a number of other dogs and are not well supervised. Another thing that I like about Linsmoor is that she is open for an hour on Sunday afternoon so that you can pick up your dog. Most other kennels don't offer that.

I use them about 4 times a year. It's like $20 a day per dog. I am very pleased with them. They are very good with the animals. I have no problem.

The grooming area was very clean and I was greeted immediately. Amy was knowledgeable and enthusiastic to groom my girls. She showed genuine interest in them both. I was very impressed with the grooming- it couldn't have been better! I highly recommend this groomer.

I have had very good experience there.  They are very reliable, and I feel very comfortable leaving my precious pets there. The cost for boarding is in line with everybody else. The grooming cost varies on what I need done. The price on grooming is quite reasonable.

We travel a fair bit and have been using Linsmoor for boarding and grooming of our Carin and Westie Terriers. Amy, Becky and the staff at Linsmoor are friendy, professional and we always feel they have our dogs best interest in mind. Highly recommended and we're glad we found them.

We left our little dog at Linsmoor for four days. From the time that I contacted Amy (the owner) until we picked up our dog up to take her home, we were very impressed with Amy, her assistant, the facility and everything about Linsmoor kennel.  We felt very confident that our dog was being taken very good care of.  Each dog has their own space and own outdoor run.  The facility is kept very clean and Amy is very particular (in a good way).  I highly recommend this kennel.
