J & S quoted $27,000 and we had $6,000 in approved change orders. Project failed county framing inspection four times. Failed electrical inspection twice. J & S estimated six to eight weeks for construction, I fired them from the job after 7 months. Hired another contractor to fix their mess which took two months; tile had to be busted up and re done, windows were hung crooked, one window was above the ceiling line and entire wall had to be redone and window lowered. Also, J & S wouldn't clean up job site while construction was ongoing; had to hire a company to come over and haul off debris twice. Horrible experience and they left my roof uncovered twice and rainwater flooded my existing home and did $8,000 in damage. Project cost me twice as much after paying for repairs.
