Hurst Roofing

Very well! prompt to come over, examine and give an estimate, and prompt to show up for the job when weather allowed! The work was well done, the men were very nice and cleaned up scrupulously afterward!

I've had the opportunity to use Hurst roofing for installations and repairs at business and residential sites. I respect another reviewer's opinion, but I've found Kenny to be anything but a "ramrod". He's easy to talk to and has never attempted to "sell" me  anything.  He has a metal fabricating shop for making unusual flashings, etc. Kenny has a talent for identifying the problem. I can attest to his fixing leaks when others have failed. When he replaced the roof on my dock, I was impressed that they took care not to accidently move rip rap. Site cleanup excellent.

Good initial customer service. A little bit of a "ramrod" but no worse than other salespeople. Seemed to be an "on your side" person. Bid was over insurance estimate but the estimate was way low. They said they'd take care of it. They did. We got the correct shingles and an even better gutter system. The work on the roof which is very difficult was done in one day. It's good but not fantastic.Some cosmetic issues. At least it's not leaking. The gutter job was very good. The clean up effort was not bad. They left some debris around but not any more than I might expect from such a rapid job. The price was what was promised. Overall, not a bad job. We'd trust them for another job in the future.

We had water overflowing on the back side of two of our gutters which had rotted out a good bit of board. When we realized how extensive the damage was, I figured we were in for $10k of work and that the whole thing would be a huge hassle. I was very wrong - Hurst came out the day I called them and worked up a written estimate (which they hand delivered the next day). After seeing the estimate, I agreed and signed it. He had brought the shingle samples and I was able to pick out the new shingles right then and there. He gave me a date they would be there. And sure enough - they were! They showed up, took off the old roof, and started repairing the damage underneath (which included taking most of my chimney apart). They had everything repaired AND half the roof done that first day. They finished up the rest the next morning. The crew was courteous, friendly, and respectful - a great group of guys. The whole job only ended up costing me around $4000 and it looks flawless. Not only that, I didn't have to "get involved" and it only took 2 days! I highly recommend them.

I was satisfied with the quality of the work and the job that they did. They were a nice bunch of boys that worked really hard. They were very conscious of their work and did a very professional job. I wouldn't hesitate using them again.
