I called Mr. Gennoe and scheduled an appointment for the next week. He called me promptly at 8:00 am to confirm time. The service was quick and highly professional.

Overall, a very pleasant and professional job.

No drama. I called. He came. He worked. He left. Me satisfied. Actually, part of the job was more complicated and involved drilling through brick veneer and 8 inches of solid, steel-reinforced concrete and digging a trench in the ground. There was also some troubleshooting of a malfunctioning circuit that through Mr. Gennoe's vast experience, he was able to diagnose the problem. The electrician who wired the house during construction and quot;probably didn't connect two white wires some place.and quot; And he was exactly right!

When the job got the best of my husband, I called Genoe Electric. Did a great job on installing our ceiling fan. Mr. Genoe was very knowledgable and experienced.

After several years the light on our brick mail box which was controlled by a photo cell no longer worked. The circuit was controlled by a GFI circuit in our garage which kept tripping whenever the light came on. I replaced the GFI receptacle and thought I had fixed the problem but the next night the circuit tripped again. I tested various parts of the circuit and finally determined that it was the line (underground) going to the mailbox that was the problem. Not wanting to dig up the yard I called Gennoe Electric owned by Lamar Gennoe whom I met on a job at the house my daughter is renting. He seemed very competent and I was comfortable with him so when this problem seemed insurmountable, I gave him a call.
He came out a few hours later and we discussed the problem and he began his troubleshooting and he was able to isolate the problem to a ground wire which I never suspected and within a very short time, he redid the wiring, tested the circuit, put in the new photo cell that I had bought, tested that function and tonight, after 2 years with no light, my mailbox light is now working as before.
The price was very reasonable and I could have saved myself a lot of frustration if I had called him sooner.
